Not really. It’s much easier than it looks. I might be biased since I play the viola (I literally play rhythm games in real life) the hard part about rhythm games is when it’s slow. This also applies for the real life aspect. I have a much easier time playing the fast-paced main sections of a piece than the slower background stuff

I originally hated those incredibly fast osu videos; they made me not play this amazing game for YEARS, i only started playing osu after seeing my brother playing it

Now that Im an Osu! player, I feel my view is actually the opposite. Every time I play in public I get people coming up to me saying how slow the level looks and to me all I gotta tell is "its not always about chasing those stream clips, its about enjoying what you play" also telling them that it doesnt need to be fast to be challenging.
