I liked this video because it showed the introduction of WBT basics to an un-prepared class.

So glad I could see WBT at the beginning stages! The videos I've been watching are all of classes that have learned and know how to do these steps. Love to see it being taught! Thank you!

Its not brain washing. It's training. Inner city students come from broken homes; therefore, they have a lot of resentment/anxiety concerning adults. This whole brain teaching is great stuff bcuz it trains them in a high-energy fashion engaging multiple intelligence--namely physical, visual, and audio. Sean is a beast and thanks to ChrisBiffle for sharing. I cant believe this information has been available for 2 yrs and I'm just hearing about it.

Great job Mr. Kavanaugh. My hat's off to you for putting up with all those attitudes in Middle School. You are doing well, getting them motivated and providing structure using WBT.

If your kids are running over you, you should consider a different profession...before you can teach them anything, you must have a semblance of control--Whole Brain provides a foundation on which teachers can build exciting and energetic lessons. I've used the techniques for about five years and have NO complaints! It works really well with the youth of today! As a 23 year veteran educator--that's saying a lot!!

I am gradually implementing WBT. I wonder if Mr. Kavanaugh is still using this method and how the kids have responded long term.

Great work! I'll be starting WBT at my middle school in Mt. Vernon, NY - demographics very similar to yours.

I feel like this doesn't come natural to me. I have never experimented this in a classroom.
