Rangers really are make or break via playstyle, aggressiveness and gear especially. A huge chunk of ranger damage is those thorned roots so usually most stuff that gives flat damage % and flat stat % is what you want to go for and use. The encounter dps rings, ranged and melee dps rings, a lot of on hit artifact sets, a lot of weapon sets and stuff just do not work for ranger. That is why most rangers wear really outdated gear because it outputs much higher dps numbers. Stuff that activated on encoucnter hit is good for AOE or arti calls but is suboptimal to stats or dmg %. It is one of the classes which you will either do very poorly at ir you will do very well at Also with the rotation you showed off you will be proccing presator WITH gushing wounds and not getting the Predator damage. There's a very good reason all the best rangers always open their rotation with hindering shot. Also the difference between in an arti set and the variability of having enough AP gain to proc another full artifact rotation while other classes are waiting on cooldowns by using dissruptive shot and stacking some good AP gain gear is truly a great asset to the ranger which really applies in every single fight you're in. There's practically never a single artifact call where you can not get 1 full rotation out. Whereas some classes if they die or time it wrong they can lose tens of millions of dmg in an arti call by not having their daily up. I think if you know the class and are willing to sit at a dummy and perfect your rotation for like 20 hours lol you'll be pretty golden.
Yeah it's one tough class. It's probably the only one that I can't even do a decent job at using. I can't even imagine the skill that's actually needed to make it do great damage. In my case, latency doesn't help as chaining the attacks becomes almost impossible I always end up like a sitting duck lmao
Relentless Slash is not too bad on a Barbarian. But I wish they'd bring back Weapon Master's Strike for the Fighter, as that Reave or whatever it is is pretty awful mechanically. {:o:O:}

I'd swap Hunter ranger with arbiter since arbiter has theorical high damage, but in real content, you won't be that strong when mechanics are happening since you lose a lot of damage when dodging or even moving, while ranger does not, and also dying punishes cleric really badly while ranger can keep carry on.
For the fighter. If you have 2x tacticians and artificers enticement you can do: heavy slash, commanders strike, artifact, anvil, bull charge, owlbear, mount, daily, slash, commanders, bull, anvil all before your artifact ends. I think it should get a bit more damage than what you have here.
@@Aragon-it makes it so your second bull charge and anvile of doom get the 10% commanders strike buff. Mow down eats the commanders strike buff due to the striker's mark feat.
these comparisons are a little incorrect in practice. for example, barbarian here starts the rotation with full rage. in several fights where the boss has different stages, other classes (rogues/wizards) have already made their rotation while barbarians are still building rage to do your first rotation. probably fighters suffer the same.
For cw rotation here there must be 13 keys pressed without at wills in 10 sec bc in imaginary arti calls everybody uses arti in the same second and there are no mechanics. So if cw has time for 13keys, you have time to hold the left button on the mouse.
Hey man there’s a problem with the second boss on mlmd. Could you test it out and make a video of it? Multiple teams on ps4 have been encountering that the second boss is not properly stationing with the tank. Last night we had an issue to where the boss was by the edge of the map and decided to run away behind the pillar and the proceeded to do a tank buster and stopped moving. Then, in another occasion it falls and respawns with full health, making the dungeon longer. That wasn’t a fix, that was punishment from the devs even for those who didn’t do the falling method. Also the boss keeps on dancing and doings its own, moving and dancing and going to the middle for no reason. Check it out
Were any HR tests made using the "Careful Attack" (At-Will) for the bonus 15 magnitude on everything we do? Did it just not perform as well? Also, waiting on slashers mark for a full daily burst proved better than using disruptive shot for multiple tactician procs? I will have quite the simplified rotation compared to what i've been giving myself if so.
Not at the cost of the tank or heal path though, please! I'd be mighty pissed if I'd have to give up either of these very viable support paragons for just another meh DPS paragon - especially after investing a lot of AD and time
theres no need for a paladin dps path, it would make it so theres less tanks and healers. solo content is easy enough with paladin using the feat and using bane, or smite for single target. i dont even have dps gear, companion powers, or insignia bonuses equipped on paladin healer and i have no problem with solo campaign stuff. so no, turning a tank/healer class into another dps class is a bad, stupid idea.

Your warlock setup is incorrect for Single Target. You must use ACC and DC. In long fights, the additional 25 magnitude stacks tremendously. In burst damage, we definitely suffer compared to other classes. Matter of fact, in boss fights with multiple targets I stay with ACC and DC and do as much damage as the AoE setup. Although Vanquished is technically 600 magnitude (with target cursed) and KF 900 they do not seem to consistently output this damage. Your setup on paper seems correct; it isn’t. I’ve tried many combinations in my long tenure as a lock - my recommendations are to remove the animations and have instant cast similar to wizards. The animation casting really takes a HUGE toll on us. The character is not fluid at all, and is more so noticeable in boss fights and you have to move out of red areas. I have to apply animation cancelling and it would be dependent upon my stamina at the time - without it I’m a dead lock. We can’t fluidly move and cast like Wizards. Daily takes almost 1 full second to cast - ridiculous!! And many times, it doesn’t go off consistently!
sad but yeah, SW is built around NPNM, min=max it def better, from my exp. SW powers should have less cast time and more mag to be competitive. Otherwise only SW-piano works at least satisfying

The Fighter should be doing more DPS than Warden and the Assassin (the melee variants) as thats a fighters skill (DPS or Tanking, not much else you can do with Fighter builds. I thought the Warlock was a top tier class, seems not 😞 The Paladin melee (version) class, needs an urgent buff. Only doing half the damage of the top 2 on this chat is a joke. IMO, Bards shouldnt be the top tier in DPS either. They should be high, but a wee bit less DPS and a wee bit more group support buffs.

A Bard is meant to be a support class/healer type with some DPS (in D&D anyhoo). They're not meant to be the best melee class, doing TWICE the DPS of a (historically melee focused) Paladin. When you used a belt item on your Thaum build you used a belt item, which item was it . According to your rules you can't use a damage belt item. Also you didn't use a belt item on Arcanist. Also you left a Mount insignia power open. Was that for the second Tactician?

Aragon just used the same rotation screenshot that he's used in a build video which is why a belt item is listed there but not in the damage log.
Allright, so hear this out guys i need your comments. I'm a player back to game after mod12 released in 2017 and lots of changes has been made. Now I'm warlock hellbringer main and playing along 2 months so far, reached 60k IL and still re learning the game I guess. Because I'm changing to console I've decided to made a fresh start. Now I'm in a dilemma because I want to play end game content but also seeing that warlock is not the best option and I regret I may never take a place with it in queues and groups. What can you suggest ? Should I just switch or keep doing campaigns with warlock to open campaign tokens and let other classes I would play in future an easier throughout ? Then, maybe after unlocking old campaigns I can main another class, so far as I get that wl not going to be buffed in short term, still I really like to play the class. Let me hear you guys
Stick to warlock. I main a ranger hunter and i'm not changing to anything else. I'm doing just fine in end game atm even if hunter is theoretically bad. Why you may ask? Well i see loads of 95-100k ppl who barely know their class or dungeon mechanics while using only high il gear which are crap. And it's really easy to outperform them. Oh and then you have these high il ppl who play under influence...oh boy i won't get more into that 🤣 You can do well with anything if you try your best
Why in the world do u test using the winter fox as your companion? I know many gwfs and wizards on top of the board 90% of time. They definitely should be higher on your damage list.
I showed my test rules. The damage your companion deals is irrelevant because it will be the same on any class with the same build. So I just have an augment so it does not disrupt the results of my tests
All support classes are perfectly viable in min-max groups, unless you want to do speed runs. Then you will probably run exclusively with a bard because they give damage and movement speed bonuses. Paladin's could use some aoe heal help, cleric and warlock can use some more utility as well.
can anybody help me? I want to buy the black scorpion death, but it has zero combat rating and damage, in addition to having no item level. If I upgrade it, will it change or will it still be zero. Thanks
@@Aragon- yeah so again you should show an average not the highest on a class that has heavy RNG involve, it is misleading. Still S tier simply because he does great in average and provide buff and debuff but that total ammount of damage dont make sense in average specially if we look at your hunter testing
Even when it's been near the bottom of these kind of rankings I've never (and will never) abandoned my Barbie. Glad to see us back up near the top, it's just a shame that the game is very 'Ranged Friendly', CQC will always fall a bit behind even though on paper we should be on par.

@@27brennan Melee classes have better immunity mechanics and jump to enemy options. There is a lot of work put into combat to balance advantages. Even in high phantasy one would expect a blow or a blast to hit harder and faster the closer you are.

There's multiple targets but you're going to be killing ONE enemy at a time. Using your artis to delete those summoners imps and warlocks and if your dps is high enough in the team using the rest of the artis on the boss
Also in dungeon there is limited time and limited hp. If a class does 1/4 more dmg on dummies, that can become 1/2 more dmg in real fight. The 1 tier list name is -should be nerfed.
Can you say the 8 time that cw is for stupid people, because 7 times was not enough. Even I got it by the 5th time, I imagine rogues main got it the first time, then again they think everybody else is stupid anyway. .

@27brennan It does not get more new player friendly than rogue. Great immunity, great dmg, no planning. Their passive dmg is 1/3 of their dmg.To cc, one must know the timing and order of the fight, not just wait for feats to do dmg.

You really don't get much into skill gaps until you start playing classes like arbiters. But in the long run, it really don't matter what he thinks about the classes. If you enjoy playing it, then play it
@@baldgaming6204 Believe me, Barbie main since day one here but I have one of every class, Barbies are definitely on the easier side of the scale. But, in my experience, Wizards are the easiest of them all. For me the 'Skill Gap' classes are Ranger and Cleric.

Slashers dealing x4 damage in arti call, beats what disruptive can give. You already have a lot of cooldown reduction

if you animation cancel properly you dont use any stamina, and also if you animation cancel properly NPNM is miles better than acc dc

aoe damage is not important. Anyone can clear groups of enemies just fine.

I didn't use a belt item for any of them. You can check the logs I showed. I just have it listed because I have it for the build videos

@@Aragon- yeah so again you should show an average not the highest on a class that has heavy RNG involve, it is misleading. Still S tier simply because he does great in average and provide buff and debuff but that total ammount of damage dont make sense in average specially if we look at your hunter testing

usually not very effective. 2 is usually the good spot on some classes. Other's only need 1

Even when it's been near the bottom of these kind of rankings I've never (and will never) abandoned my Barbie. Glad to see us back up near the top, it's just a shame that the game is very 'Ranged Friendly', CQC will always fall a bit behind even though on paper we should be on par.
Since lomm there is no dungeon without antirange mechanics. In trials you want to be where mitigation is. So what is your point.
@@magdalenavalentinastegaru8531 I misread first time so re replying. From my experience the mechanics favour Ranged playstyles. Did I say there weren't any antirange mechanics? No, I said the game favours Ranged playstyles. Something can be favoured whilst still having downsides.
@@27brennan Melee classes have better immunity mechanics and jump to enemy options. There is a lot of work put into combat to balance advantages. Even in high phantasy one would expect a blow or a blast to hit harder and faster the closer you are.

Fighter is about 20% weaker than bard.rouge, but content is doable for them, waiting for buffs.
You have to animation cancel no. Stop then it becomes one of the best st dps
@@Tertulion1 fighter is in a fairly good spot at the moment if you put the time to learn animation canceling, the only thing it really needs is a dash for qol. Bard and rogue should be nerfed.

There's multiple targets but you're going to be killing ONE enemy at a time. Using your artis to delete those summoners imps and warlocks and if your dps is high enough in the team using the rest of the artis on the boss

Also in dungeon there is limited time and limited hp. If a class does 1/4 more dmg on dummies, that can become 1/2 more dmg in real fight. The 1 tier list name is -should be nerfed.
A warlock in good hands puta out a very good amount of dmg tbh. We do have a very high skill cap though.

Can you say the 8 time that cw is for stupid people, because 7 times was not enough. Even I got it by the 5th time, I imagine rogues main got it the first time, then again they think everybody else is stupid anyway.

@@baldgaming6204 I'm guessing they're a bit mad because Aragon said CW was new player friendly (which it is) and that other classes have higher skill ceilings (which is also true).
@27brennan It does not get more new player friendly than rogue. Great immunity, great dmg, no planning. Their passive dmg is 1/3 of their dmg.To cc, one must know the timing and order of the fight, not just wait for feats to do dmg.
@@27brennan somewhat true, I wouldn't single out barbs or rogues either. They are for the most part simplified classes as well. You really don't get much into skill gaps until you start playing classes like arbiters. But in the long run, it really don't matter what he thinks about the classes. If you enjoy playing it, then play it
@@baldgaming6204 Believe me, Barbie main since day one here but I have one of every class, Barbies are definitely on the easier side of the scale. But, in my experience, Wizards are the easiest of them all. For me the 'Skill Gap' classes are Ranger and Cleric.
