Key word in the title of this video is “Commuter” for a suburb to live in. Lynnwood may not be ideal for everyone but it’s got everything near by and it’s improved a lot over the years. I know as I’ve grown up in Edmonds nearby and have seen the changes. It’s convenient to commute to Seattle with the light rail station now open.
I used to live down the hill from there. It's grown a bit since then. The home you've shown is actually closer to Mill Creek than Lynnwood proper. The mailing address however says Lynnwood.
Lynnwood is great. I don't live there but go there for the mall and the pool. definitely not for people looking for a cheaper Ballard however. Buses are infrequent and biking infrastructure is absent in most places. It really is shaping like a future East side but from decades ago before it became gentrified and unaffordable. In 30 years, it should be almost like a mini Redmond and I suspect well see massive inflows of people and development along line 1
45 minutes by bus to the closest Link station or 30 minutes by bike. Unfortunately this home is not well-situated to take advantage of new light rail extension, unless you plan on park-n-ride.
Very nice house and area Monica. If I ever left Aus, Seattle would be the place for me. So similar even got the old Melbourne trams. You certainly have been out in the sun. Is that Seattle weather creating the tan or have you been travelling further south?
Seattle gets extremely Dark in the Winter so the Tan is probably Artificial also Seattle's light rail system is more similar to a Metro/Subway since the Trains run every 10 minutes and mostly are Elevated or Buried to separate them from Street level except for a couple sections in the South part of the City
I worked at a hostel here in Seattle and several Aussies compared Melbourne to Seattle culturally. To answer for Monica, she lives in California as well. No way she got that Tan here where it’s cloudy 9-10 months a year!
That's... a lot of white 😅 I feel the kitchen is a bit too large and dominates over the actual living area. Do magic prices really work in real estate?
Would love to check out the suburbs but commuting from suburbs to the city is depressing with all the trash and graffiti on the main roadways. WSDOT and the city does nothing to clean up this place!
How Horrible !!! Those houses are all crammed together with teeny tiny yards !!! Never Ever move into a Housing Development that has an Association !!! Ranger Danger ⛔️. You have No Choice of a House Color !!! Association Fees !!! Have To Get Permission to add a tree 🌲 or cut down a tree 🌳 !!!! HORRIBLE TRAFFIC !!! DO NOT BUY !!!!!!
😂 .. ooooh, please let me show you some neighborhoods without HOAs. You get to watch your upstanding welfare neighbors repair numerous cars on their unmaintained front yard. Of course they do work on those vehicles at all hours of the night. They also love to collect numerous pieces of junk on the side of their yard .. you know the side next to yours. Umm, always have an HOA unless you have significant land that separates you from your neighbors.

What she doesn't tell you is that Lynnwood is a convergence zone for weather so it rains more then anywhere along I-5.
If you live in western Washington and you're looking for a place that rains less, you need to move out of western Washington 😂

What a lovely home in a nice neighborhood. Well done!

Lynnwood got some great houses but for family that are looking for school districts. I think residents will opt for Bothell and Mill Creek.
I love that kitchen. I think that's what most buyers look at first is the kitchen. Is the kitchen countertop granite?
she said quartz in the video
That is a very small lot. I get claustrophobic just looking at the backyard.
What a beautiful home. So is it true that white cabinets cost more money than stained cabinets?
No. Stained cabinets are more expensive because a higher grade of wood is used. Stain-ready wood is more expensive than paint-ready.
Fascinating!

A sucker is born every minute and there's plenty of them getting swindled by the market.

I can’t think of a suburb I’d want to live in less than Lynwood
Tacoma?
It's really not that bad...
@@rival-slays isn’t a suburb but yeah that’s worse
@@HelloWorld-fg2nm there’s just so many better options. It’s certainly not the worst suburb in the history of suburbs.
We loved living in lynnwood! We’d still be there if we didn’t move to the east coast
Hey, Monica, would you live in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Glendale, and more?
First

lol I live in one of the communities you described and I absolutely love it. It’s safe, very quiet, and well maintained.
ugh such a karen, all you do are leaving bad comments
Calm down
Really different strokes... you sound frantic. The home is beautifully done and many people dont use their yards and want low maintenance.
