I learned pipe patching with the US Navy and Coast Guard in some pretty wild training facilities. None of them showed me this. I’ll teach them.
This should be considered a temporary repair, it held all summer without issues. Add more layers for more strength.
    Stuff I used:
Heat shrink (use titer fit than I do in video if ordering for specific project): amzn.to/43vhutF
Heat gun (propane/butane torch may melt plastic, but use freely on metal pipes): amzn.to/3vbhLFq
Hose clamp kit (can be used for car repairs, and more too): amzn.to/494PoGD
*Affiliate links, I earn small commissh, no cost to you.
So when this pipe didn't reach anymore after too much pedestrian shortcutting across our yard, I used what I had on hand to make it reach again.

I love demonstrating the easiest ways to do the most with the least. And using supplies that have multiple uses encourages production of universally useful materials, rather than weird specific sizes, connectors, etc. that get phased out over time.
I also write too much in my descriptions. Every time. A natural writer above all else I suppose...
