Where does someone find anything these days? These were found at a local mycology shop. The internet was my original source many years ago. My first order spore syringes lasted in the fridge and produced fruits even more than a year after purchase (I ordered too many first time…). Not sure that supplier still exists. I do hope to sell in the future. Still getting that going, grown some liquid cultures, need to make sure I test them, get syringes, set up online store, etc. I will likely sell face to face on Craig’s list as I travel the nation. That should get the next steps funded, while connecting more people back to this channel too. Are you in USA? If so, would you share where?

Should’ve added: I have seen spores for sale at CBD/vape/smoke shops too. Maybe they can show proof of their fruits as some form of verification.

You’d be smart. More variety too. Main advantage of big tub is I can attach grow light to lid, they’re not too short. Can still just place small boxes in a big box like a grow chamber when you get to fruiting. No need for multiple small lids, faster misting and fanning all together. Easier to maintain at and between harvests. Easier to dry after soaking in smaller volumes. Do it.

@@floki-man really that’s how I used to do it but back in the day so how do you do it today? I’m curious.

Grain spawn with oats to coco coir bulk in unmodified Monotub is my preferred method. Can add old tea/coffee to grain spawn if you save it. I’ve also used week old pasta and rice, bread, pre sterilized of course.

I’d have to look up historical temperature for Colorado Springs for last 2 months to answer that question. Mostly cooler, just got much warmer last couple weeks.
