These are gorgeous but yep for the price you'd expect wood.
For $155 you probably could get a real carpenter to make you a miniature full living room suite of similar design and better quality.
Just like you I like the box better than the carpet.

Congratulations - I very much love the vintage feel. Color and style most perfectly work with vintage Barbies., though the carpet would be the first thing to go. The price is vintage. Happy playing👍

I was taken aback a little bit by the fact that the furniture is plastic, and that the chair looks a bit to me like a handmade craft project.
But overall I really dig the doll and the color scheme 😊

The carpet is ghastly. I love that you used the lid as the flooring, so much better. The faux wood is really nicely printed/painted, I almost couldn't tell the difference. But yes, I can see why you've moved on from IT 🤭

I mean this poppy set is cute but I wish they gave us more than just a chaise, a carpet,a lamp, a picture of your lover and a table

The photo is of chip farnsworth from the poppy Parker loves mystery date collection a great nod to the past collection, I almost ordered this last year but when the pink collection silkstone #2 came out I made an executive decision to order her instead and I’m kind of glad I did
Yes Chip! I was foregetting his name. I got the poppy and chip formal dance date set, but recently sold it. Glad you are happy with you pink collection doll!
I think you may have misremembered the pricing. Are you sure your deposit was $75? For W Club members, the total price was $100. The deposit was $25 and then $75 upon shipping of the set. For Non members it was $125 total. I just received my set. How were you able to keep the back of the chair from coming apart? Mine won't really hold if I just insert it into the pegs. I ended up hot gluing the back to the seat.
Hi yes, I’m not a member of the W club so it was more expensive for me. I hope to hot glue mine too, because it comes apart easily
@@somelikeitvntg Oh wow! I see. If you do like Poppy and even if you only like Poppy, I think it is worth joining the W club. Like you, I have a love of the Vintage style so I joined the W club mostly because of Poppy. The set was designed to be taken apart for easy storage but I felt they should have kept the back and seat as one piece. Luckily it was an easy fix.
