My Kenai Fjords Orca Whale Compilation

While ski no a Kenai Fjords Tour this summer I took several videos of a pod of orca whales that we saw. There was able 8-10 orcas and most of the videos that I took, the pod of whales was on a rest cycle. They rest by staying close to the surface and half of their brain rests while the other half is active keeping their life sustaining functions working. It is always pretty incredible to see whales in the wild. If you have not done this, you should do this tour. It is the 8 hour Kenai Fjords Tour and you visit Fox Island in Resurrection Bay at the end. This is in Seward, Alaska. I cannot say enough good things about this experience!
