I asked for the $300 bonus, but they said that was for "Online Checking only" 🙄. Okay, whatever. I did get an extra $25 for opening a savings account with them, too. This all happened about two months ago. I did receive both bonuses after about 40 days and at this point am waiting to close the accounts.

T&Cs are your friend. Terms are cannot have had an account for the last 12 months. I didn't without issue
May have to go in branch. Sometimes it gets harder to open online after multiple passes. I have to do this with Fifth Third and Huntington

@@RunonTheBank I did a fake DD, but it counted as a "direct deposit". It says it's a DD on the statement.
