I just picked up something I missed when I watched MK the first time around. Why does Mark/Steven lose Konshu’s power when he gets turned to stone, but Arthur gets to use Amit’s power even though she’s trapped in stone?
I do believe it’s the stone in his cane that gives him his powers until Amit shows up

I don’t know if you still care, but he didn’t get power from Ammit as her avatar, he was not her avatar until the last episode, just the leader of her cult. The cane had been imbued with her power, not him. Kind of like how Mjolnir is imbued with Thor’s power and whoever wields it can possess the power of Thor, whoever has the cane has assess to some of Ammit’s power regardless of her status.
