To 100kph yes, but after that, the 2.4 D5 will cruise away. The 2.0 D4 190 has quicker acceleration thanks to its 8 speed gearbox, something I wish Volvo put on the D5 as I feel the D5 could benefit from the 8 speed in terms of power and economy. Mine has a 6 speed auto
