Yes, you should get a steel pipe the size of the can, seal off one end and then slide the can in and shoot it with the water jet. Aim the pipe at stuff and see what happens :)
Abloys are pretty good, ABUS is good, there's a lot of good brands that make bad products though as well, some have some design oversights and exploits. Some really awesome "lock review" channels I recommend are LockPickingLawer and BosnianBill, they make videos of picking various kinds of locks and check for/abuse exploits in various models. The main reason those two brands are most of what you see at stores is because they just run the main commercial market, probably partnership with Wal-Mart, Ace, various other hardware stores, they all have the same cheap 4-pin core inside of them even the big hunky "premium" $60 products.

I love these guys, always have, never clickbait, they say what theyre gonna do, and 2 seconds in, *they’re beating the absolute snot out of a lock that got excessive amounts of air duster*
People on YT have a strong love for padlocks. LOL This video should do well. Next time take a thermos to a welding supply store near you and get some liquid nitrogen to lower the padlock into.
The can launch is absolutely amazing. From what it looks like the ultra high pressure of the water jet got into the can through the hole it made. My initial thought was that the duster would get out but those cans are nowhere near 60k psi so the hole bade by the cutter only took in water pressure. The top of the can turned into a ticking time bomb. As soon as the pressure inside the can was greater than the strength of the seal between the top of the can and the can itself, it flew off. This in turn created an equal and opposite reaction on the bottom of the can. The force pushing on the bottom of the can, guided by the ply wood and pipe strap, sent it flying so fast it crushed itself on impact. Assuming that there was roughly 60k psi applied to the bottom of the can, with the area of a standard 3 inch diameter can being around 7 square inches, you can estimate about 420 THOUSAND POUNDS of force propelling that can. **That is a maximum figure, as the real number lies at whatever pressure the top of the can failed**
Breaking a lock, like in the thumbnail, they got bored, so they got a can of soda, now they’re *freezing someones hair and theyre going to break it off* this is the pacing of content i came to see, nothing scripted, everythings improv and amazing
It's not explosive because it is CO2, maybe the REALLY old stuff was because they would use Nitrous oxide but those were taken off the market like 20 years ago (Mostly because kids were using it to get high since it is laughing gas)
Make a controlled air duster launcher out of some PVC pipe with some end cap put it in strap it down to the water jet shot trough the pvc pipe in to the air duster to shoot at some stuff and measure the speed and strength of it ;)
The gas in those air duster cans is 1,1-Difluoroethane it is also known as R 152a refrigerant and it also explodes on contact with water when it is still in it's liquid form.
In the title, there was no mention of an explosion, there was 0% clickbait, it happened and I think this is the first time on youtube, that someone has actually surprised me
Saskatchewan guy weighing in here- no canned air required up here for experiments with freezing things. I’ve walked outside in January shortly after a shower, and had my hair freeze into a solid helmet within about 60 seconds. Do that a few times and you’ve got a pretty good case of split ends, but I don’t think you could actually get the hair down to a temp where you could break it off while the scalp was still at a temperature consistent with being part of a live human. Steel, though does get brittle and break when it’s cold- just ask anyone who works on heavy equipment up here- failures of hydraulic cylinders and lines (both solid steel lines and steel braid hoses) go up a whole lot in the winter, along with steel cables, and things you can sometimes get away with doing with a chain in the summer, you’d better not dream of doing in the winter up here.
There are tons of locks with the locking spring problem where you can force them open rather easily if you try Even are some clips that you can just rotate into the spring and you can just open them. padlocks of that size just need to hold the thing on both sides
Amusing. WHen the can was first pierced, the regular gas that's used for dusting prevented the water from reaching the propellant. The moment the pressure dropped below the pressure of the water jet, the water and propellant mixed instantly, causing the pressure spike as the propellant boils rapidly.
I would LOVE to see what happens if you pierce one of these underwater! I think it would cause an explosion. In fact, I think the reason it shot off is because the water from the jet got inside and could not escape, and the point of least resistance was the top of it. When you mix water with something that cold and contain it, it'll blow up. Be safe if you do anything else with them!
The world would be a miserable place without this channel. Oh, and the pressure jet's water heated the stuff inside while not allowing it to escape. Kind of like what happens when you put an aerosol can on the fire.
I've used iso butane(very flamable) in a lock cylinder (brass) and hammered a screw driver into the key hole, shattering the cylinder. After that pulling the piece out with pliers released the mechanism.
Wait. To "Pop" a master lock you need channel locks and a hammer. Pound the lock on the side as you pull on it with the plyers and it'll open and it's still lockable. Not broken. Neat little trick to know for when you've lost the key.
The people at the store probably thought whoever made the trip was a duster-huffer (I used to work retail and we had at least 3 different people come in to buy them to huff.
You might want to look at some videos where people freeze stuff in liquid nitrogen and then smash it. It takes a few minutes of sitting in it to freeze solid enough to smash. You would probably need like 10 cans of air duster to freeze anything all the way through. Also, just go buy some liquid nitrogen! It's probably cheaper by volume than air duster anyway lol.
If you want to freeze break the lock, try Liquid nitrogen and let the lock soak in it. It will shatter like glass. Also you are keeping the lock wet in liquid air. You need to spray it at distance allowing maximum contact and maximum evaporation. That will actually cause cooling. Spraying won't work much.
You should use the tubes that come with the canned air. Also, I use this effect to trick the temperature sensor on my truck and keep it from shutting down due to being between the upper and lower allowed idle temperatures.
so fun fact if you spray it into an empty water bottle you can pour the super cold liquid into a bucket of water and get an explosion, so that stuff explodes with contact with water, water jet not needed
I use freeze pray all the time....well I used to. TO cool a "soda" to a good drinking temp from room temp spray the can "bottle" while moving it in a circular motion. You can make a hot or warm "soda" into a nice cold beverage in less than a minute.
I have the master lock version of this on my shed, I lost the key instantly and for the last 4 years I hit it with a hammer to open it and it still works. It’s a shitty lock but keeps the door from blowing open
What you have is liquid propane at -44°f it just doesn't have ethalmercaptan to make it stink -44 does make steal brittle but you have to let it soak for extended time liquid nitrogen works much faster

You guys really need a Mythbusters type blast shield.
But with the blast shield down they can't see anything. How are they supposed to fight?
That canned air stuff is explosive when in liquid form and combined with water which may contribute to the explosion. You can find videos of it.
Yeah. Hfc-152a or r152a can be used in small appliances and cars as a refrigerant as well.
It's not explosive because it is CO2, maybe the REALLY old stuff was because they would use Nitrous oxide but those were taken off the market like 20 years ago (Mostly because kids were using it to get high since it is laughing gas)
@@SilvaDreams uh no it's not co2. Co2 is 1000 psi at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and would not be safe. Its difluroethane or r152a a refrigerant
@@SilvaDreams also n2o has a lower pressure than co2 so co2 would be more explosive than n2o. The old stuff was r12 or Diclorodifluromethane
