That’s crazy because this is honestly the first time that I thought the tone sounded a little weird. I’ve been watching you for years too
This is the challenge when we play a Les Paul: everything comes out so easily. Using the gain for the pedal or the amp sometimes doesn't work. What I'm trying to do is using the volume knob.
@@antisolcial Probably too much gain (and chorus) on this one. That is the problem using an amp, afterwards is impossible to tweak if there is too much gain. I record very quiet and it is difficult to monitor the final tone. That is why I do not like recording this kind of "live" videos with the amp.

Este es uno de esos temas que tienen un fraseo tan cantable que muchas mañanas te levantas tarareándola y no sabes por qué se te ha metido en la cabeza... adoro las dos etapas de Gary Moore, he de decir que disfruto más de la segunda, me parece uno de los mejores bluesman que han existido!!
Lo mismo habrá pensado Gary moore después de escuchar blue Bossa compuesta por el trompetista Kenny dorham. XD
Se le quedó tanto en la cabeza, que robo su melodía y la uso como propia en esta canción.
Aunque no está mal, ni es nada raro, por el contrario es tan común robar melodías o riffs, que se ha usado siempre como herramienta compositiva.
Nada es 100% original, la música en general es un plagio, tomar algo de otro y hacerlo propio.

Man, it sounds absolutely killer!! For me there are two things to consider in this song, the bendings with vibrato and the agresivity of some fast licks. You've nailed both of them. Keep on rocking!!
¡Gracias tocayo! It may look easy but it is damn difficult to nail those bends and vibrato. It takes balls to attempt it and publish over the internet ha ha. Could be performed better, that is for sure.

Pues yo sí estoy muy contento con tu ejecución, pues para mi gusto fue Gary el que originalmente interpretó su monstruo de melodía con una ganancia baja para lo que después fue su estándar, en mi humilde opinión se escucha mucho mejor con la ganancia que tú utilizaste, pues a la melodía que es hermosa tú la hiciste escuchar hermosamente potente (tal y cual Gary en general fue).
Y todos esos arreglos que le hiciste se escuchan precisos y de excelente gusto, como esa vuelta con terceras y esa primera línea vocal "cantada" con acordes de poder con ganancia al mínimo (un muy fino detalle), no dejando atrás ese sustain eterno en el que no parece que necesitaste feedback para mantenerlo pues se oye completamente natural.
Para mi hiciste un maravilloso trabajo de principio a fin... excelentísimo cover Alex, felicidades.

El problema que tengo al grabar con el amplificador es que como toco con el volumen tan bajo (para no molestar a vecinos) no puedo controlar bien la ganancia con la que toco por que prácticamente no escucho nada! No es lo mismo que usar plugins y poder toquitear todo después de haber grabado. Quien pudiera subir el volumen a un nivel decente que permitiera "sentir" el ampli y así tocar en consecuencia!!!
@@Ale-Desafinados Pues esas pequeñas contrariedades a veces se dan de tal forma que funciona mejor que bajo condiciones mejor controladas, y para ejemplo ésta preciosidad de cover que a mi en lo perticular me agradó mucho más por esa ganancia extra. 👍

Even if this isn’t your best, you still did very well. What did you do to get such sustain on the not? I’ve always wondered how gary did it.
Tons of gain is the answer. Most of the song I'm using the LEAD channel from the amp + the BOSS SD-1. On that "infinite" note I added another distortion pedal for maximum gain (LME CW36). Tons of gain stacking = sustain for years.

wow, is the sustain at 2:10 natural or a feedback effect? i got an ibañez and my bends "turn off" much faster, is it tecnic? lol i dont really now
i did the bend in the same fret and it stayed for a long time, like if it was never going to end, i tried it with other notes and none worked lol, plz idk how that long bends work so if anybody knows i would like to hear it lol
A lot of gain and feedback is the real answer, and a good bridge humbucker pickup!

Nah, en esta ocasión tuve que tirar a tope de las válvulas con el Hughes 😀 Todo el tema está grabado en el canal Lead del ampli + un Boss SD-1 para darle un poco más de push. Luego, sólo en esa nota añadí un pedal de distorsión para conseguir el mega acople (LME CW36).
