The second they let me free roam Hogwarts I explored every single thing and did pretty much all of the puzzles/codex pages without ever stepping foot into the first class room missions and ended up being level 20 😂 so now im just being spammed with extra credit missions to learn new spells

Dude same, I was level 20 something (can't remember but it was early 20s)by the time I got the talents and I was starting to get concerned that I had missed out on the points.

I'm not even a big fan of Harry Potter, but this game gives me anxiety every day i spent without playing it, i wish i could play it.

I went into this game basically blind, barely know anything about Harry Potter but the game is just amazing
@@cerqy5301 if your going in blind you should really make it a point to find the field guide pages because they drop fun and interesting lore
@@cerqy5301 that’s the best part about this. It takes place before Harry’s story. So you don’t even need to be familiar with the movies, and it makes sense to watch them after completing the game
Played the game thru and completed it now on Hard mode, never used one potion in combat (apart from heal) or added one trait.
Cannot say it really impacted my gameplay as once you learn to use Dodge correctly then you are untouchable anyway.
Watching videos of this game brings back fond memories of playing harry potter and the sorcerer's stone on my gameboy color back when i was a kid.

I’ll be interested to see if they add new game +, just wondering how some of the quests would still be relevant or if they would change them to account for us already having all the spells and Room of requirements access. Love the content!

I knew I wasn't going to be able to buy all of the talents but as I hit level 32 I realized that I did make mistakes on buying certain talents that I don't actually use that often and would rather have spend them on different talents.
Biggest NB!! should be Chests dont respawn, so save many of them tyil late game.

I am overwhelmed by the scope of this game but in a good way
I honestly even without tips and teicks figured out many things, i used my talents on my most used spells, i use alot shape shifter so i can always have explosive barrel, and rn im working towards getting avada kadvra for sticky situations, i dont much plants but more relying on potions and brawl power. And its my playstyle so im happy how it turned out without checking tips. Tho you very accurate with those statements, ive done all of these without the vids.
I havnt got the game yet cues I’m waiting to get the ps5 first but I must say I already have my build planned out not going for too dmg but more for fun and what I would choose if I was in that world

Tbh the game is way too easy to "make mistakes" Literally just play missions, explore do side quests and enjoy! been playing over 50hrs and almost finish every challenge in game.😁

Can someone clarify something for me. I am confused on something about traits. Did he imply that there is a possibility that even after opening all the chests, you will still be missing some traits because of randomization? or is it that the randomizer is based on the traits you haven't unlocked yet????
some traits are tied to field guide achievements so you have to do those as well to complete the collection. i believe. i don't think chests give randomized items it's likely all set. some will give the same items you already have but you have to check the stats because you can have 2 of the same items even same quality but the stats can be different.
@@Celbrise My other question is are they finite or can you keep finding them? Apparently everywhere I look says you can only find them in chests. Does that mean after all the chests are open you can't find anymore? Also gear, is there a reliable way to get more gear at end game? Like arena or just killing mobs?
One of the things I hate about games that have stuff like bandit camps is that once its done, its done. They should put a respawn timer on them so that people can go back and do them again if they wanted.
@@XultanisDragon that i can't speak about im not really that far into the game to say i literally didn't even find any traits yet. i was watching videos earlier though but i could of swore 1 said it comes from challenges as well but maybe not now that i think about it because seems like all the things coming from challenges are just xmog ( gear to make your other gear look like something else ).
im guessing all the chests can be opened if your inventory is full it won't allow you to pick up items ( mostly a gear issue ) but thats only from chests idk about quest rewards because i believe one way of getting gear they said if you have no space it will probably be gone or you'd have to destroy gear which provides 0 gold so no reason not to sell your unused gear.
im guessing the camps spawn infitely tbh would make 0 sense to have vendors in this game is there is no way of making gold outside of selling gear you get from chests/rewards. i seen one guide on how to make gold as well but i didn't watch it.
idk about the gear stuff im just spending time exploring and doing side quests rn all mostly in the castle barely touched any of the main story quests. plus i can't really play much rn me and my gf just had a baby and is in the nicu so we mostly are there

The #1 most critical mistake I made was not telling Sebastian that everyone should learn the spell for Avada kedavra. I picked no one should learn it trying to be the good guy thinking I was still gonna learn it but nope. Beat the game, did all quest with 50 hours in and that 1 spell is locked for me.
Also I opened all my mail, went to Sebastian’s uncle house looking for clues, notes, anything anything that might help but nothing, dead end. I searched google for this with no answer and watched a dozen videos how trying to obtain the spell but every RUclipsr I saw picked that everyone should learn the spell. Like am I the only individual that picked this option 😂 fml
@@Cryts well I did the same mistake but luckily I had several game saves so that fixed this issue. If it helps you or makes you feel better in any way...I don't even use avada kedavra that much. Try the cabbage build meanwhile or the glacius+deffindo combo. 🤗

I wouldn’t use it myself but just having it would be great since I was going for the full 100 percent completion of the game so this along with a bugged field page I’m hogwarts it makes it impossible to make that happen, rip to me. And lol the cabbage build is dope, I’ve done it but I didn’t like that I had to come back to my room to fill up. My favorite build right now is the ancient throw.
From what I've heard, you're able to go back to Sebastian in the Undercroft after the story is finished to learn the killing curse if you didn't learn it the first time.

@Anubis Perry well, I have now completed the game and got 100% exploration and pages with almost every side-quest complete also... I hate how you can't unlock every talent and hate having a game this good that I basically can't play and enjoy now unless I start from scratch. More content now please!!!!! I'm already needing new stuff to find and do!

The fact that we only miss out on 8 talent points isn’t so bad most builds depending on the player won’t need much as long as you’re comfortable with your play style you’ll be fine

The game is still new, there could be a dlc that increases the max lvl to 50 or a NG+ that gives mastery points each time you lvl up

I have been keeping gear with traits on them, if I sell these will the traits I had on them will they be able to use later on when I unlock the use of putting traits in my gear?
No, you won't be able to use those traits on new gear. You need to get each trait's recipe which can be unlocked either by completing certain combat challenges, or by finding them in collection chests found around bandit camps and such.

Nothing game is EXTREMELY easy it needs a major balance buff
Facts it needs a very hard mode. Only really thing that matters is probably the point that reduce cooldown on spells when u hit with basic cast. Other than that, the traits really matter.

Don't mind having to upgrade a spell but adding a mini game to opening locks is stupid there's no need for it ur not picking it so why have a mini game
Keep seeing these “10 things not to miss” or “perfect spell builds” videos for this game and it’s hilarious. This game is clearly just not the game for it. You have to be brain dead to miss things like broom upgrades or think spell builds are super important in this game. This game is easy for children even on the highest difficulty and missing things like broom upgrades is almost impossible. These RUclipsrs are starving for content lol.
