About the replenishing of offerings question at 21:10 the rules specify that replenishing cannot go above the Uses (X) level, since it doesnt have any base uses i'd say you can't use wicked athame the fuel the twilight diadem :/ but i might be wrong !
Thanks for these videos! Seal of the Elders can probably be activated with the Rod, since now FFG has confirmed you can trigger the Rod during skill tests. This investigator has a wide range of possibilities for cluever, damage dealer or flex, even with just two expansions of dedicated cards! Also Parallel Rex has been released and he is a bit wild 😅
Talking about blessed, cursed and paradoxicall builds and how the different classes interact with them now that Hemlock Vale is out is a really nice sets of topics for the podcast like videos
2:38 "You can grab which one you need in the moment" Only if the two tokens are equal. 14:35 "Going back to Kohakis Book of Living Myths, you can actually just like do that." Provided there are more bless than curse in the bag. Otherwise the book doesnt help. I have a sneaky suspcion, as tghey didn't cover this in discussing the Book of Living Myths, they may have missed this restriction.
No, we are aware of it. It's just quite easy to grab the one you need because of the amount of tools there are for adding tokens, as well as Kōhaku's ability. I played a game with Kōhaku and I had every token off the book when needed because of all the tools Kōhaku has available.
Did you see the discussions about the lightning bolt on rod while using something like eye of chaos during a skill test? you can pretty much use it as Olive McBride. You reveal 5 tokens and get to put it back in lmao. Broken af
Yes, I've been aware of that since the card was first revealed and have been a fan of that interpretation when it was first put forward. I don't think it's broken, I think it's more fun than it is good and will likely end up living in more elaborate amusing combos than as an actual tool to cheese the game, because I think it's already easier to cheese the game for more efficient results.
I don't understand this guys power. If you play curse, he adds bless tokens (the same as sister Mary). But if you play blessed, he adds curse tokens (which are theoretically bad). So, you are pressed to keep up the curse tokens in the bag, to place bless. If you begin your turn and there are more bless, so you put a curse, is it bad? It shoud, shouldn't it?
If you care, 'Athame' is pronounced "AH-thah-may". If you don't care, please forgive me for mentioning it.

Kohaku seems to have the biggest delta (of Hemlock Vale investigators) between his level 0 and upgraded options.
with access to innsmouth he is wild.
I'm determined to make a rainbow deck with as many cursed/blessed cards from other archetypes.
Thanks for these videos!

The hardest thing about Kōhaku is balancing the - above the o.
Paralel Rex might have an interaction with curse tokens. Are you guys psychic?

Base on the rules insert for hemlock I don’t think you can replenish with out ueses(x)

What cards that this deck has two of might I be able to drop down to one copy and substitute to add in cards like Armageddon and Keep Faith?
Absolution and Antediluvian Hymn are two easy cuts!
