Wow! First time seeing this! Priceless film of scenes now familiar to me, incl my alma mater M-berg (late 1970s). I live near the Game Preserve area now. So much of this is Gen. Trexler's philanthropic legacy.

Thank you. I grew up in Allentown's west end on South Ott Street in the 60's and how beautiful it was then. I see how there were still animals by the creek at the game preserve in the 30's, not so much when I was coming up. The Rose Gardens are still such a warm and wonderful memory of my childhood along with Cedar Beach pool. Season passes were just $3. Thanks again for sharing this beauty.

Thanks Omar. I lived in the same area in the 1950's and 60's.

Dave Reese. My apologies if I already asked... I notice you have these videos transferred from films. Might you still have them. I have HD scanners that I would transfer them at higher quality and no charge. I transfer many films with local historical scenes for preservation purposes as you can check on my youtube page. The more recent ones I have scanned but some of the older transfers were by amateurs. Simply message me here should you wish to have them done again in HD for free or if you have other films (or know of others) that can be done. Thank you kindly. Ray

+19king14 , Ray, I no longer have the film. I had them converted professionally as we prepared to move as I no longer had room to store all the movies, video, photographs, negatives, and slides. I am still working on the negatives and slides myself. Sorry.

Look how beautiful the people dressed. Like prince and princess. Now everything is camel toe yoga pants, open back shirts etc.....
