If you like the brazed look...then you may consider doing a little brazing on the rear fender to match the tank... just a few spots here and there...perhaps around the bolt holes for the rear fend support bar...or along the seams? Could look great, and not too "Polished" like with accents. I also agree NOT to use painted brass anything.... go with the real deal or not at all. :) Looking good thus far.
Great video dude , Im currently having a go at building my first bike with no experience or skills at all so some very helpfull learning for me right here 👍
Because I cut it off and welded on a hardtail. It's basically a sold frame from the tank back now. I will have springs under my seat but that's it outside of the front forks. Form > Function
Shouldn't you have put the engine in en the chain on before setting the clearance between fender and tyre? The chain probably isn't going to be at the right tension right where the wheel now sits.
I set the tire all the way forward so that if I need to move the tire back I can. I'm also going to be running a frame mounted chain tensioner so that will take up any additional slack.
hi there, that back end looks fantastic, very old skool.
I didn't know that you know
Fritz nicen tight. lol great video.
😀 👍 👍 👍

did you build an uglybob .. uglybob?
Tire width the same as the fender width?
What fender did you use ? From where?
This is a 70s Honda CB550 front fender.
put some brass on the triumph lettering on the tank badge
That's a great idea. A few little accents like that should be all I need.
Why is there no rear suspension?

Okay! That makes sense to do.
I like it

Dull chrome it
Brass.
Fabrication at glacial speed. The sun rises and sets while this guy talks. Nothing to learn about fabrication in this video. Disappointing...
firestones are the sign of a hipster ... eek I hate em
