I hope that Sera and John will get their abilities back but especially Sera we saw what others can do but haven't seen much of her abilities i belive that time manipulation may have more to it than her just being really fast and stoping people
My theory is that the drug that takes away abilities affects Aura Channels, and since John already has experience opening Aura Channels he’ll be able to get his ability back without the machine. It makes sense considering how he’s been able to get his ability back for brief moments.

All over that it means that John also has channel master but since it's the combination of Jane and Williams it's more based as a cripple form of channel master that can corrupt its user by the times its used but that doesn't mean that it can't be controlled or that channel master is better because we still haven't seen what it can do but I'm sure its not a better amplifier than Aura Manipulation.

After all John is biologically related to Jane and his ability is Aura Manipulation. I could guess that Channel Master allows the user to give and steal abilities, and temporarily cut off their Aura channels. Or maybe manipulate one's Aura to the highest degree that it gives them a whole new ability and maybe multiple. Think of this concept as AFO (All For One from My Hero Academia). An extra fun fact I am believe that is true with the Doe family bloodline from Jane's side is that these Aura based abilities are partially or completely immune to Aura and or ability blocking drugs seen when John activated a much weaker version of his ability when he was already disabled. The reason why I didn’t include characters like Volcano, Keene and Vaughn was because their lvl was unknown. I also didn’t include Keon was because, although he’s a 5.2, Memory recall is an ability that has the user to touch the head of the opponent which is almost very useless in battle, people might have speed or they haven’t done anything that bad and literally many mid-tiers can easily avoid that with their own ability. If he were to battle John, then he wouldn’t win because he also didn’t show any physical strength and John can easily avoid his hand and beat him up pretty easily. This was confirmed when he tricked Remi into giving her a false chance of opening his mask with his guard down so, it’s an easy win for John

He can copy Narisa’s ability and amp it to use the it way better + fighting skills. In the fight with Seraphina, John was using Zeke’s, Remi’s and Arlo’s abilities, elites and above! If he didn’t use them, then he may have enough space for her time manipulation to be in there. He may not amp it, but he can use his combat to his advantage. With Jane however, it would be just a fight against 2 cripples, not 2 high tiers. We don’t know much about Jane’s physical strength, maybe she spent some time as a Queen of a school and hid her weakness from everybody. So this is a win for John.

But I do believe that most other version of John would probably lose to her. The only two that stand a chance imo are John's chapters 224 because of high defense and reflective damage, and 251 because of good defense and maxed out healing. I'm iffy on 251 though because he might just get speed blitzed and not be able to hit her.
