A great short film. I loved the Twilight Zone growing up, I caughted the 50-60's reruns in the early 80's. The Outter Limits would come on after it.
This episode was extremely deep and I can seriously relate to it.
Amazing. Don’t stop. Serling would be proud.
You should find more Lost Twilight Zone episodes!
Rod would have been very proud!
This wasn’t actually a Twilight Zone episode. Lost or otherwise, but a short movie based on Twilight’s format. The title is misleading. Good try and I wish the creators luck in their pursuit of the industry. Just be more clear and not so misleading with your titles and thumbnails.
@@LuisaD93 Oh, come on. As soon as you see (Short Film), you know it's not real. And even if you don't catch that, the third line down says: A Twilight Zone inspired film. I think it's brilliant!
@@LuisaD93 it says twilight zone inspired short film. Nothing misleading about it.
@@leestirling4623 It does indeed say that doesn’t it? Well done 👍🏻
the effort and dedication to make this movie can be felt, amazing congratulations
It's amazing. I almost cried at the end
Great short with a great story (true to TTZ), and a great score. Well done!
Now that was an awesome ending oh my God Mr Sterling would be proud of you that was Twilight Zone inspired and it was great keep them coming that ending was incredible! Kudos to you and Bravo!
Rod Serling, not Sterling
Whoever made it did a great job!!
The end gave me chills.
I felt that
This was really good
That's one thing I don't miss about my 20s, going through an identity crisis.
Not knowing what I want to do in life, what I have to offer, but making promises I end up not being inspired enough, moved enough or touched enough to keep ... but this too shall pass in your 30s.
This absolutely blew my mind..🤯🤯 the amount of effort and raw creativity that went into this... absolutely insane. Excellent job my good friend🔥🤟🏼
Not bad,it's pretty Twilight Zonish! LOL.
I thumbs up your merciful comment to this poor rendition!
Absolutely brilliant! Thank you.
This was great. In black and white, like the original twilight zone.
Amaaaazing!! I love this, what a hidden gem!
Luv the B&W, the music, and the rotary phone makes me nostalgic 😓
I am about to start watching Limbo right now!
Amazing acting...WOW
That was really good. 👍👌
Inspired!!! Twilight Zone
Not even kidding, approach A24. They'll probably give you the money to make your own feature length film.
Ooooo the ending was so good!
Good job, liked that
This is really awesome!
Very interesting and begs the question.... Great job Zachary Padgett.
Wow! Love it
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Where are the fireworks?"
this was really good as the new year comes soon im watching this in 2023
A really good film! very well done.
The gunshot he fired sounded off…like a firework.
Best in the game
Big in the game ĺol
Those of you who think this is not a twighlight episode oh my how wrong you are..its eery its creepy its un nerving its defo a twighlight..thumbs up to all those involved in making this
Thanks Frankie, I’m glad you enjoyed it! And other than the Sister’s voice actor, this short was written, filmed, edited, and scored completely by myself, so I really do appreciate your comment
@@Cinemug im suprised that you alone created this and put it together..well done good work
I've always wanted something like this to happen to me😅 Better version of me taking over the game of Life.
You actually can, look up Neville Goddard law Of Assumption
Nice ending 👌
That was brilliant! Anaw subscriber here. I look forward to watching all your videos . Old and new. keep doing what your doing cos your doing it well. KUDOS to you🤗
Thanks so much for this! 🙏
Great short I’d love to hear the score is there anywhere we’re I can hear it
Thanks, I really appreciate it. I’m working on another film right now, but I’ll for sure make a separate video with just the score soon, just like I did for The Nightmare Writer short
Well done
Absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Except for the narrator's voice, I felt like I was watching the Twilight Zone!
That was pretty good. I hope you do more of these.
Thank you
Seems to be very much like the more modern Shatter day.
Exactly. "Shatter day" The 1980s Twilight zone episode featuring Bruce Willis.
well done!
I love it
So good !!!! I love it
Brilliant very clever well done nice indie one good acting good interesting script Rod sterling would be proud of you guys love to all
Excellent music score
This was very clever. Very well done.
Come on PEOPLE, the title is shorter than a TikTok video! Focus when reading!
I really enjoyed it!
If you can alter your today accent to the 60’s accent it would be great.
Very cool ending!
This was actually scarier than the horror and ghost movies
They say about cells being renewed every seven years or whatever but what about physical scars? They don't disappear, so can't be completely renewed. Plus if they were renewed wouldn't that mean we wouldn't grow old?
Enjoyed replay thanks for sharing
Ok version of Shatterday
Wow, I’ve never seen that episode before, mainly just watched the ones from the 60’s, but I’m definitely gonna check that one out! Thanks for letting me know 👍🏻
@@Cinemug The episode, The After Hours (one of my favorites) was re-done in the 80's. I bet you could watch some 80's episodes & get ideas. I'd love to see more. 👍
Not nearly corny enough to be a Twilight Zone
Look, From a cinematic standpoint it was indeed well done. However, Im a VERY tough critic when it comes to the Twilight Zone. With that said I would keep it separate. It would not come close. nice try though. Not nearly enough Irony. The beginning dragged leading up to a somewhat interesting middle. then to a blank ending. A slight rip off "A nervous man in a four-dollar room" but dont give up.
So dark i can hardly see.
A little more light would have been great.
I definitely agree tbh! Unfortunately all I had to work with when filming was my desk lamp, I didn’t have any film lights to use just yet
You lose more lost episodes!
( short FAN film ) sometimes words mean exactly what they say.. at the very top and also 3 lines in - inspired - Cinemug - indeed but also due respect as a Twilight Zone episode ? some mug face asks - as young ppl say - that would be a def yes - top drawer 🌹 The Padgett Messages by James E. Padgett 1914 are also inspired.
Pokey .
While I thought this movie was pretty good, putting Long Lost Twilight Zone Episode in the title was deceiving. Maybe Twilight Zone inspired would be more accurate...
If you already missed up New Year resolution for 2024, don't fret. The Chinese New Year begins February 10th
Pretty good. But an inconsistency. The kid was going to originally be executed with a semiautomatic handgun, but he also had a rotary dial telephone.
It’s not inconsistent at all. The Colt 1911 was a semiautomatic handgun created back in 1911, and rotary phones were used up until around the 1980s. This short film is inspired by the original Twilight Zone series spanning from 1959-1964. Theres even been a couple of episodes in the first season where this same handgun was used.
This one is inspired by the episode from twilight zone called 'Shatterday" with Bruce Willis playing the schizophrenic double personality very good play in both versions
I honestly never heard of that episode until a few months ago when someone mentioned it in the comments! I never got to watching Twilight Zone seasons post Rod Serling, but I honestly wasn’t too surprised there was something similar to this made already. I’m just glad it didn’t have a firework/gunshot twist 😅
Deceptive. This is nothing compared to the original show. The title is a click bait lie.
Wow, a show with a full studio, crew, and budget is better than a short film made by one person with no budget at home. Imagine that.
And I think most people who enjoy The Twilight Zone would enjoy this short. Not everyone though. So I’m sorry that you didn’t like it.
DEVIOUS CLICKBAIT. NOT A TWILIGHT ZONE EPISODE 👎🏻
Would you enjoy it more if it was “Twilight Zone Inspired”?
@@Cinemug DON'T FORGET the outer limi6.chun..........
?
Shit sorry i
DON'T FORGET THE OUTER LIMITS,,,,,,,phew👍🏾💨
"Long Lost..." my %!@$#!😒 OK, it was a cute little film, but rudely misrepresenting itself was almost enough to make me turn it off. The overly generic props and costumes just proved the lie. I'll admit the story was pointed, resonant, and even fairly well told. That's why I kept watching. I could have really applauded if it had been offered up honestly as an independent film admiringly patterned off of the endearing classic "Twilight Zone" series. Too bad. Hollywood is hurting for talent. Some of the best movies I've seen in recent years have been independent and foreign films. Independent film makers: Tinsel Town is losing its glitter and the field is wide open for new talent. There are a lot of us viewers who are bored or jaded by Hollywood, or just plain sick of being force fed social controversies as politically correct norms. Be bold, be proud, and seriously, be honest! You'll be surprised at the following.🥰
Dude, it’s a one-man crew fan film with zero budget. If I was able to have better props, costumes, and locations, I would have. And I’m a big fan of the Twilight Zone series, so I wanted to try and make my own episode using the same structure. I don’t understand why people always have to complain about something.
Not surprising it was lost. It's just boring. I didn't like it at all.
Someone forgot to put a shilling in the electric meter😴🥸
