  • It's probably the music, but this track makes me feel the most nostalgic of all. This kind of uplifting rock is the sort of music I always heard as a kid. Not just from this game, but every movie, TV show, the other kids in school, this is what I always listened to. It really makes me wish I was a kid again... Back when I felt good about things.

    This game was the true soul, the only and the best burnout ever.
    I really loved the 3rd and paradise remaster, but this one was just about driving and get the best curves, and it was so classy.
    And this track was my favorite, but I prefer it in mirror, I feel like there are more stunt this way especially when I get into the tunnel I could spend hours trying making the perfect lap and listing the music going crazy when u press the boost button.

    That's really ballsy going on the right lane to score near misses! I always stuck to the incoming lane. I once was up to about 87 or maybe 112 burnouts on Gamecube(my memory is hazy on the amount but those numbers ring a bell!) The only reason i stopped was because my girlfriend wanted to watch TV. She said and i quote "Fuckin hell steven wtf man" That memory card is long gone obviously,but i'm gonna fire up this on Dolphin and see if i can do it again. Now tech has moved on i can screenshot it! Also the music on this track is fucking brilliant,why dont they make games like this anymore?

      Very nice! I've not tried to go for a maximum burnout chain, hitting 100 sounds quite satisfying!
      Also, you can take the right lane pretty consistently by doing little straight-line drifts. You only need about 600ft of drift to get another burnout chain

    What would you say is the fastest car? The Supercar, Oval Racer, Custom Roadster or Japanese Muscle?

    • @uvi-
      @uvi-  Год назад +2

      I think Custom Roadster has the potential to be fastest, but because it's so sensitive to auto-drifting, its skill ceiling is extremely high. Since I'm bad at this game, I use the Supercar which basically never auto-drifts, making it much easier to maximize.

      You and I are the same age. I too spent a long time away from my favorite childhood games. It has been a huge joy to play some of them again via emulator.
