So there is some confusion brought on by my video scheduling- it seems that all of the species were revealed during a livestream yesterday, even though I recorded this video back when we had just received the announcement. So! Go watch the hour long livestream for all of the species if you want to, I suppose!
Coming from SA I agree 100% with all the fish u named there all the kurper, carp, bass and barbel(catfish) seem right I'm very excited to see what this map is going to bring. It's only that lebeo I don't agree with but ey it's a game anything is possible 😊 gave a great day❤ love from SA❤❤❤
The devs themselves wanted to have Wels Catfish on the Spain reserve (Aguas Claras) just as much as the community did, but they weren't able to due to software limitations.
Yeah, unfortunately that excuse comes up for just about anything that would make the game better... i.e. Letting the character move after casting or reeling, changing time, fish with multiple rods... and now wels catfish for some reason? I'm in tears.
@@BoAnglesso there is no hope that multiple rods will ever come to the game? or are they still looking in to it? it's the single most important feature that would massively improve the game for a lot of people. float and bottom fishing can feel so boring at times because you can do nothing while waiting unlike in other games like fishing planet.
@@Bensen555 unfortunately. I have a theory they’ll push out a good few many reserves with kind of.. the basic stuff to get by, while creating a new engine for a 2nd fishing game that supports all the stuff they missed out on.
Pronounced seal-o-canth :) I'm from SA, our local dams have freshwater eels (these get up to 15kg), large/small mouth bass, spotted bass, a few flavors of kurper/tilapia, barbel (african sharptooth catfish), a few flavors of carp, tigers at jozini, scalies (yellowfish), some trout fly fishing locations, and let's not forget the crocs and hippos we got to watch out for lol
They are. Go to the expansive world RUclips channel and go to the newest angler live stream. There’s 2 types of yellow fish, 3 types of kurpers, smallmouth bass and spotted bass, mirror+common+grass carp, moggel, tigerfish, etc.

Yes! The crocs and hippos were something I was curious to see... but I'm not sure they'll be included.

I live in south africa i fish all around south africa throughout the year. If there is no yellowfish carp and catfish i will be absolutely fuming!
