I have been with Black Sabbath since they began and they just keep getting better in my opinion! Saw them first in the 70s and three times after, then in Tinley Park 2 years ago for 13 tour and was there at the United Center on the 22nd-the show was phenomenal!! Cant wait to see them Sept 4 at Tinley Park!!!! I have my tickets for that one too!!.....(I really dont want them to retire!!)
Ozzy's Voice at this show actually surprises me very positively. Since I wasn't there in person I rely my opinion on the videos available. Actually this rendition of hand of doom is in my opinion a little bit better than the '78 one. And kudos to the drummer, as with their previous tour he keeps a faithful method to Bill Ward, high marks all around for this show!
dzamija922 Dude, he's going full Ozzy, by your response I can only assume that you are a novice fan of Sabbath and will not engage in a shameful argument with you. Regarding to Dio - Ronnie has arguably the best voice in recorded history, period. That being said - it's Hand of doom, an Ozzy track back from the early '70's and that's what I, as a Sabbath and Ozzy fan as well, want to hear and enjoy. And I can tell tell you that I really enjoyed and savoured it! Sending Dio my eternal love and respect for his great solo contribution to music and influence on the Sabbath sound in the '80's. Lots of love for you too, dzamija - it's metal, it's beyond rock, it's true music, and we're arguing over a live performance by Sabbath, life is wonderful, and there's fewer of us metalheads left that I would like to admit. Just pump up the volume, binge listen the Classic 8 + Dio's Sabbath days and ride between "Heaven and hell" *obvious pun obviously intended*
IStVlad He still sucks major balls here. He might be going "full Ozzy", but he's still offkey as hell. If he sung like this in the 70's no one would even be talking about Sabbath today. His fame and fortune is not an excuse to deliver such a poor performance. Alright, the guy's old, been doing a lot of drugs, it's a miracle he can still even talk let alone sing, but that doesn't change the fact that he sucks here.
+dzamija922 You are simply disruptive and plain obnoxious, I even go so far as to say that all of us reading your earlier comments are, if not annoyed, simply ashamed that you deem yourself a Sabbath fan. I will not exchange any more comments with you on the subject because I may tend to become annoyed and lash out at you, which is entirely unappropriate in this video's comment thread. If you feel like it just swear at me, use whatever foul words you want and curse whomever you think deserves it. As a last note: you say you are a Sabbath (or even maybe Ozzy fan), setting aside the fact that you are a really poor excuse for a fan if you "just like the good years" of a certain artist, but even without that, being so aggresive in regards to a singer/artist/band that offered and still offers (in my case at least) satisfaction, enjoyment and is the soundtrack of a lifetime it's just... I'm honestly sorry that you or people like you call yourself "metalheads", gives all the rest of us a bad rep, no matter our generation (i'm 23 btw). Wishing you all the best though.
IStVlad Dude who cares about being a FAN? What the fuck are you talking about anyway? I'm stating an OBVIOUS, OBJECTIVE fact here. I don't fucking worship Ozzy, or Dio or anyone for that matter. I call it as I see it and this performance is simply horrible. You're talking nonsense. Get off your fucking high horse. If being a Sabbath fan is your greatest fucking accomplishment in life, you need to go out and fucking do something. If this offers you satisfaction - great! It just tells me that you can't tell when someone is badly off key. That may be my curse, whatever. I do hope that you're not just a freaking troll and that I've wasted my time typing this
Black Sabbath with Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Bill, was active since 1996, but they just record two songs for the Live album “Reunion”, released in 1998. Bill Ward left the band in 2011, and the guys call Tommy Clufetos to fill Ward place on new tour. They finally record and released his final album: “13” in 2013, with a studio drummer called “Brad”. They give a word tour in support of the album on the years 2012-2014, and finally, they give a Goodbye tour called “The End” on the years 2016-2017, since that, the band end.
@@ZxZartixZ to be fair, "Brad", was Brad Wilke from Rage Against the Machine, and Audioslave prior to that... I'm not much of a Rage fan, however he is a pro rock drummer, cut him some slack.
He seems to get better now. it's just that the first show at Omaha, he sounded pretty bad. He just needs to warm up, and he may start to sing better throughout the tour. Can’t wait to see them on February!!!
+Christopher Botticelli the first night he said he wasn't feeling right and is sorry for this voice issues. 2 nights have now been postponed. He will be back and he sounds great for this age I'm sorry to say.
Aside from missing the cue on the final verse, Ozzy sounded way better here than at the Omaha show. Not to mention that for the Omaha show, it was his first time singing it live since the 1970's. Now he's gotten the rust off.
+Jimmy Saboter Right they definitely practiced, but performing in a practice room is probably a different experience from doing it in an arena in front of a sold out crowd for the first time in almost 40 years. By rust I meant live rust.
First time in almost 40 years? Are you really a Black Sabbath fan dude? Since 1997 Black Sabbath with Ozzy have been touring CONSTANTLY. Actually the years are as following : 1997-2006 Then they took a short break because they reformed the band with DIO. Then 2012-2016. The last time they toured was to support the "13" album released on 2013. So yeah...Their live "Rust" was not more than 2 years...
Sorry man.. I love Oz.. and I have seen him and sabbath about 10 times.. but he is so far off key with this.. Last time I saw them in 2013 the band sounded great.. But ozzy was flat like on this tune.. I still love the man to death.. he is a great composer .. and a great talent.. Sabbath forever !!
Glad I didn't waste my money on seeing this. They are still the Kings of metal , but this is bad. They sound like they tuned down a couple steps to accommodate Ozzy's voice night after night and it doesn't sound good. I''ll keep the memory of 1978 @ Chicago's International Amphitheater when Van Halen backed them up. Long live Black Sabbath!
He is way off on his vocals like he can't hear himself with band playing loud.If he sang just a step higher along rest of the band it would sound good.
+Todd Roxx It's like you can't read what you type because your head is up your ass. If you pulled your head out of your ass your comments would sound good.
sorry but the past should stay, ozzy you look like sharon and geezer and tony compare yourselves when playing with ronnie and vinnie no comparison.its sad to watch.
The fact that they are still alive and kicking says it all! Love Black Sabbath forever!
I have been with Black Sabbath since they began and they just keep getting better in my opinion! +Jade Richardson Totally agree - wish they weren't retiring. Fantastic at United Centre
Everyone going on about his voice. He is like 67 years old..lol and abused drugs for at least 40 years.
+TheStatuatoryApe yea thats kinda the point we're making when we criticize his voice
I know right?? Give the man a break
I honestly thinks he sounds good for age at the time. all of em really...
Best band ever I was her a few months ago first time going great experience.
I was there it kicked ass!
Who cares if Ozzy's voice is abit flat. They are fucking legends!
\m/ Great footage of Black Sabbath. Tony Iommi still has it for his age playing his electric guitar. ;)
Rock on guys. Love you.
sounds so much better than Omaha!!!!!!!! Cant wait for vegas!!!!!!!!!
+Jeff Cuff I'm a singer, and have a decent voice, and I can tell you, that song is NOT easy to sing.
Drove three hours to go see this, definitely worth it
this song has so many killer riffs.
awesome sound's much better thàn Omaha, can't wait to see them in Connecticut.

+IStVlad Are you fucking kidding me? He's horrible. Horrible. Dio's up there laughing his fucking ass off.

So much better!
This just shows how vital Bill was to the band. Not taking away anything from the current drummer
Gonna comment on Ozzys voice but the dude is so old and abused drugs and alcohol for many years of his life. Give him a break he’s a legend
Hand of Doom , OMG !!!!
love this song!
It was great!
Love it can't wait for Texas!
Much much better than the opening show. Seems like he may just need a few shows to get back into it!
Brilliant 👍👍👍👍
The bass sounds do good for a live video
so, the old formation is back =), good work on recording Geezer (y)

He sounds great for fucking 68 much better then David lee Roth last summer
dam ozzy cmon get it together!!
ozzy vocals bad!! Tony and geezer great as always! ! Come back ronnie -if only (r.i.p)
+Brian Blackwell What a bad comment!!
No offence mate just loved dio's vocals -everyone has their favourites - I do like a lot of ozzy stuff in the past - sorry for any misunderstanding!
+Brian Blackwell I honestly prefer Dio as well, but Ozzy isn’t too bad. I've heard worse from him, he just sings lower now.
He seems to get better now. it's just that the first show at Omaha, he sounded pretty bad. He just needs to warm up, and he may start to sing better throughout the tour. Can’t wait to see them on February!!!
+Kevin Q Also the setlist for this night sorta warmed him up instead of placing it right away.
+Cameron Nikolajew it's the same every show
+Christopher Botticelli the first night he said he wasn't feeling right and is sorry for this voice issues.
2 nights have now been postponed.
He will be back and he sounds great for this age I'm sorry to say.
+TraumaSwitch415 seeing them feb in inglewood :)
saw his last show last night and he was sick but still sounded fucking awesome!!
Really better singing from Ozzy than at the first show. Hope it'll improve from show to show!
DUUUUUUUDE THIS WAS SICK
Aside from missing the cue on the final verse, Ozzy sounded way better here than at the Omaha show. Not to mention that for the Omaha show, it was his first time singing it live since the 1970's. Now he's gotten the rust off.
+MeatWisdom So they didn't practice the songs on the rehearsal room they had, eh?
Sounds like BULLSHIT to me mate ;)
+Jimmy Saboter Right they definitely practiced, but performing in a practice room is probably a different experience from doing it in an arena in front of a sold out crowd for the first time in almost 40 years. By rust I meant live rust.

Hand of Doom. Remember the Isis cover of this song ,turned me on this song

Love this song but don't think it's a good idea to include it in the set list.
when i was at the show it sounded better ozzy is really out of key, it still was a great show thanks for
posting
Ouch! Ozzy has no voice on this tour so far.
+Kevin Schumacher Which show did you attend?
damn he sounds the same as he always has
Yea his voice is not all there here. I hope Z's health is good.
His voice was tragic in Omaha. There are videos all around YT of that song played in Omaha.
Sorry man.. I love Oz.. and I have seen him and sabbath about 10 times.. but he is so far off key with this.. Last time I saw them in 2013 the band sounded great.. But ozzy was flat like on this tune.. I still love the man to death.. he is a great composer .. and a great talent.. Sabbath forever !!
Rick Lafayette it's called old age and a Fried brain.
At least he doesn't rely on AutoTune or Lip Synching like so many others, Get real, people! It's Ozzy, live and in person!!!
@@butter9669 I'm well aware of what it is and he also has Parkinson's
Heavy Metal, heh? What about the jazz, blues & folk? It's all there!
Ozzy sounds okay here...so much better than Omaha
Glad I didn't waste my money on seeing this. They are still the Kings of metal , but this is bad. +scott slavik Cool, other generations didn't get to see Black Sabbath in their prime.
They were shit in 1978. You Must have done too many drugs.
He is way off on his vocals like he can't hear himself with band playing loud.If he sang just a step higher along rest of the band it would sound good.
+Todd Roxx It's like you can't read what you type because your head is up your ass. If you pulled your head out of your ass your comments would sound good.
+El Paulerino whatever dude.
+Todd Roxx agreed, he was way flat, which is too bad cause the mix sounded good, he just cant hit the notes.
It's the 2nd fucking show refuckinglax guy
+Todd Roxx manson
Ozzy sure is singing flat. Is he going deaf?
The 1970 live version is better, but still isn't bad considering he took hard drugs for 50 years lol
Ozzie has the stage presence of Lane Kiffen. Blahhhhh.
A full step down and he still can't do it.
sorry but the past should stay, ozzy you look like sharon and geezer and tony compare yourselves when playing with ronnie and vinnie no comparison.its sad to watch.
Ozzy is one of the best but way off key here , sorry .
Great group, not very good performance....
Lackluster ...
