Tim, as someone your age whose been training pk since 2010, it’s difficult to over state the amount of conditioning, especially joints (ankles, toes, knees) you’ll need to be doing the drops you’re doing. Eg, 50 precisions minimum, same amount to train joints for drops (jump down two steps to practice landings 50x)
I still cant comprehend Tim Ferris said he is introvert on previous podcast, coz I would never have figured that out. I am an introvert myself. He seems like people person. Also the reason I keep watching his content is bcoz he is a postive dude. His optimism inspires me.
He’s talked about how much effort it takes him to put himself out there; for an introvert, that in itself IS part of the challenge. Lucky for him he is not also risk-adverse, so he can challenge his nature.
Curious to see how physical skills can be picked up quickly. I figured it's not just a case of building the muscle memory, but also conditioning of bones, muscle etc.
Huge amounts of respect! I can imagine the thoughts prepping for this one, as you know your body very well, you knew the ligament issues may arise but you went full bore anyway. I found myself cheering when you attempted the first precision jump on the 3rd tree after the roll through. Bravo Tim!
Good afternoon and Happy Friday Tim Super reminiscent of my son as a fun loving kid. He was jumping about interested in parkour when he was maybe twelve, thirteen ish. He is now twenty five and a proud Dad of a beautiful daughter and another on the way. Super good crazy, indeed. I was at the time terrified 😂 and momentarily educated (Google etc) on said subject when learning what he was up to, out there in our big world with his mates. Could have been worse of course! Anyways just want to say appreciate you sharing your experiences and thankyou for sharing the continued aspirational things you do. Super grateful. 😀 💜

A small suggestion, maybe instead of "if I can do it so can you" something like "if one of us can do it so can all" could serve better? Love what you do especially sharing it with every one. Much respect
Did you actually stick that precision jump? Editing the landing like that and your terrible foot placement dosn't make me that confident I have to say. Still, fun stuff.
I disagree - It’s perfect for someone over 30, they have more maturity. I didn’t start until I was in my mid 30’s, but I had good teachers. And more built up fear to break, that’s the rub
Tim, I'm huge fan of the podcast - but seriously... get some pro RUclipsrs to help. The production quality pulls from the rest of your high quality content

The best thing about this episode is that Tim couldn’t go all the way through and still showed it. Loved it.

Being an introvert doesn't mean you're unable to talk to people easily. Introversion != social anxiety.
He’s talked about how much effort it takes him to put himself out there; for an introvert, that in itself IS part of the challenge. Lucky for him he is not also risk-adverse, so he can challenge his nature.

I was not expecting you to learn or even to be interested in parkour, that is a delightful surprise :)

Getting comfortable with discomfort - well said!
The amount of force on the eccentrics is insane when you jump down 6 or 8 feet like this. No wonder your legs couldn't take it.
This looks like nutcrackers for your knees. Rather you than me Tim.
Amazing. This was a very difficult challenge and you did a great job, Tim!
Love this! big double kong fan as well
CHECK THAT KNEES OVER TOES GUY
Very well done Tim, great effort! ❤
Gotta have balance! Awesome video brotherrrr
i wish tim did more parkour content
This is amazing!
I love have both coaches proexpert & prostreet.
GODDD WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME WANT TO DO THIIIIS!
You can make it a series. Part 1, 2, 3. Etc.
You are an Inspiration ❤
Love it!

Double kong indeed is difficult move
Why didn't you get a health check up first before attempting this?
Cramming may work for intellectual pursuits but it's not the greatest plan for physical training.
Thumbs up
why is this shot like a low budget early 2000s fear factor episode?
I get the same vibe hahahah
It’s free, relax.
Becouse it was shot in 2013
I love this precisely for this reason
bro I live in Europe. Everything is free there@@brandonmehrg

Why does this video look like it was made in 2010?
I don't think parkour is ideal for over 30yrs old, even if someone is well trained. Knees and back will suffer. 😢
I disagree - It’s perfect for someone over 30, they have more maturity. I didn’t start until I was in my mid 30’s, but I had good teachers. And more built up fear to break, that’s the rub

I think these videos are like 10 years old…
You're slightly off the mark here given this was actually aired on TV a decade ago.
