One thing when you transition from la to tornado shot - GET RID OF YOUR PIERCE NODE. Make sure you have no pierce, it messes chain up.
Can you explain why?
@@damo06ab Only one effect can happen on a hit and effect priority means pierce happens first and chain (and fork) will not happen. Only split (like Ice Spear) comes before pierce.

What a timing, thought today is the day to transition to TS from LA and you upload, perfect!
Not all of your secondary projectiles can hit a target, every target can only be hit from 1 secondary projectile from every tornado. So if you have 8 projectiles, creating 8 tornados, you can hit with a maximum of 8 secondary projectiles not 8 * 3 (or 4) secondary projectiles. Wasn't super clear in the video. The helmet enchant and richochet only serve to significantly increase the chance for you to hit with the maximum amount of secondary projectiles.
also a reason when you already have +3 arrows from other sources, it's better to just drop GMP for more damage, so yeah he missed a bit here.

@@Aeroxen it's never better to drop arrows, you lose clear on a skill that already has plenty of single target.
Yeah you're right but The helm enchant and ricochet end up being huge DPS increases because as you add projectiles it becomes more and more difficult to aim and hit on a single target properly making each projectile much more likely to hit or if they miss have a chance to chain off terrain and back.
Swapping from TR ballistas to this TS build. Still buying gear/gems/tattoos before respeccing but I'm really excited to get it done. This is my second league and I started with EA ballistas, then TR ballistas this league.
This is definitely outside my comfort zone but looks incredible, can't wait to try.

I actually just swapped from LA to TS and only thing I changed was returning projectile gem for awakened chain and the build feels insane (first time playing TS).

i went to ricochet but i dropped focal point instead of endless munitions. IDK if that was the right call but getting chain instead of pierce made the build feel 10x better.

use Spine bow as a base, all the nodes on the tree for crit are mandatory and also the crit against blinded enemies mastery helps
Have you tried using the Abyss unique jewel that gives more chain when colliding with terrain chance. Upping the chance from 30% to 50% should be pretty nice but it's quite hard to quantify the actual dps increase in practise

The next step would be working towards mageblood, or +2 arrow bow but honestly in the Pob I linked you could put LA instead and it would also work really well

great videos. I swapped to TS and now am looking at getting my cluster jewel. The damage is great, the Random Arrow Direction Altars are trash, and only a little more DPS (maybe 1-3 add arrows) would let me melt these Legion Bosses faster.
Going to go with this build with my second character. I have around 20div saved up and I wonder what the order of operations should be when picking up gear.
Bow always first priority 1k edps with 8.5+ crit if you can. Then getting life regen and resistance gear with flat life for your kaoms gloves rage regen. Make sure to get ailment avoidance too with the ancestral vision jewel. Don't neglect your flasks and chaos resistance too, strength is solved with a lethal pride so look for one of those with the pob tool. Good luck!

I wasn't considering TS as I thought the swap from lightning arrow would be too expensive with a CO purchase. I make maybe 22 divines in an entire league, but the tattoos and gear are something more reasonable for me personally, instead of one item being that price. I'm excited to try TS for the first time.
the +1 proj tattoo is 14 divs
how do you make only 22 div for an entire league? do you not play any mechanics?
@@sniperprice626 No, not to the extent that requires me to make more currency. I just can't do it, man. Running 1000 legions a day or something would make me want to blow my brains out. I play a little bit of everything in a league, and then stop. Much like a diablo 3 season. I do the season journey and I'm done. As an aside, I always love to hear from the PoE elitist veterans. You guys are always so welcoming and friendly with your condescension,
Outstanding build man! I'm wondering at what ponit do we take off GMP for chain? Like when we get a +2 bow and +1 quiver? I have every arrow i can right now minus FF, thoughts?
Try them both out and see honestly you have to feel out your own build for the content you're running and tune it to your preference. There is no rules for this kind of stuff don't worry

Why aren’t we taking any ricochet in 3.23? Truck shot and the ascendancy aren’t taken in the new POB and guide. (I might be wrong abt trick shot, but I don’t remember those nodes when I respecc’d recently
I dont think the mageblood POB in your description is working correctly.

cheeeeers~ my best league hands down ever~ best beginners luck, best bossing build without cheese and got all voidstones+invetation (minus feared) done, ID PF has been insane to my theory crafting and perfection without abusing bloodnothc cheese or progen since im only a 50div gamer not 500 div gamer FOR NOW hah. but mannnnnnnnnnnnnn i like my PF poison clear and all and my dam is good for deep deli mirrors, but the screen clear i want to try. and mannnnnnnn i can finally have a fall back buidl that cna farm me infinite money so fuck it, rather thne get a solid LA up and running i might just jump into full beginner tornadoshot attempts if i can ever afford the core entry items. doubt it but...........
its been a wild league, with a rough start, and insane rng. now my casuae super tank impending doom PF was so crazy that i pushed lv 98 just farming up my next set of 50 divines asfter work over the past month~ nothing insane for most standards but mannnnnnnnnnnn its a new pinnacle for me. ALSO bossed through ALL of my compeltions on my owen except feared!!! now that this character is lv 98, im just doing a 100% full swpa of the build~ putting ALL of my ID PF gear and tree on my lv 85 character XD so i can level it up a second time since i didnt abuse the new acestror league omens to cheese my death xp~~~ buuuuut i wanted A LEVEL 98 CHARACTER THAT I CAN NOW PUT A GIGA JUICER BOW BUILD ONTO AND NOT CARE ABOUT DIEING!!!! i have so much currency and already 15div in a good bow nad gear for it, that i decided while i continue farming currnecy and levels on the NEW old buiold, i wanted to keep investing in a bow character ot just have an absolute blast with a zzomy fun memes tier generic cookie cutter build hahaha~ but hoenstly i dont know if i have the money for tornado shot~~~~ but FUCK IT im going to try my best even if i have to run t10 yellow map essence farming on it only itll be worth it~~~~ ill have the lightning arrow build as the base to get it going and try to keep it working, but im just 10000% investing in the critical items that make tornado shot viable which means i need to get those extra arrows which means i need that helm ehcnaht which means my 50 div is going to evaporate soooooooooo much faster thne a respectful LA build~~` hahaa.... idk~ like i COULD build a strong LA build and farm with that faster thne my genericlly decent clearing ID PF with 7.6mil dps, buuuuuuuuut wheres the fun in that? i enjoy my deep deli mirror hard pushing on ID PF with 0 deaths, so id rather have a new skill to try since i have no idea when theyll finally nerf something. tornado shot has bene soooooooo visonarty as the true top tier, so while i know ill fuck up its proj and peice mechanics or w/e and i know LA with pierces and return proj support is so top teire that i dont care, and i know i cant YET afford headhunter, mageblood, original sin etc etc etc but i know that f i can get an insane damage build together that can crush non deli t1`6s with fun arrow spam? ill have so much fun in the last month that i wont care and eventually ill just farm up a headhunter nad maybe even a mage blood if i get good enough hah........... cheeeeeeeeers
seriously though, i never thought id be so insane, but impending doom had me insanly inspired this league. and building it a non bloodnothc/progen style tanky build that didnt care about bosses or map mods or deli was amazingly fun. it didnt abuse tattoos for insane damage or such yet since i wanted levels, and it did enjoy the flask duration giving me access to a clutch maven impossible escape use, but otherwise im enjoying just how well rounded it is even if that means im no specializing in a gameplay style, it did EXCACTLY what it needed ot all this long time and im sooooooooooooooooooo happy cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
Does this build work as league starter? Trying to pick a build for this league and this looks very fun zooming around the map but obviously i will have no currency to start with so i wanna make sure it can work without much money before trying

Hi folks! I am looking for a Lightning warp TS budget build. I just want to try it out to absolutely blast some t1 essence farming. What is the minimally required? I don't necessarily need a billion teleports a second to begin with like on crouching tunas video😃
Cool video. I transitioned from Raider RoA to Deadeye TS and it feels great. However some differences are: (1) I'm using The Fledgling Helm for Far Shot (can't avoid flesh/flame), (2) Not using Kaom's Rage/Berserk Tech (don't want to bother with regen), (3) I am using a bucket load of +4 attribute tattoos to solve stat issues, (4) All my gear is < 2 divine per slot (I'm not rich in game).
I have never used TS before, nor have I ever tried Omni. My goal was to switch to Omni, however I have no idea how MUCH omni stat total I need for it to be usable. Like 1500 minimum? I don't want to farm the amulet or buy it and then realize I can't really play it.
Oh I also switched from Sniper's Mark to Assassin's mark to cap out at 100% crit vs rare/uniques because I'm using knockback on crit and it is SUPER FUN to drive enemies off screen. The QoL is very much worth it to me, even though I'm sure Sniper's Mark is much better damage wise.
Is starting TS able to run sanctum? i'm tired of MFing Crimson Temple on LA, just dropped an apothecary and i think it's about time.
What sort of rage regen do you need to feel "good"? I wanna drop voll's but a bit worried about making rage regen work without it. I could drop a nice chaos res ring for kikazaru, but wouldnt the survivability take a hit?
Its like 1 second of berserk for rage per sec
I am doing an MF version but dont have the budget for flesh and flame. Would you suggest dropping far shot for endless munitions for last ascendancy point? Why far shot over endless munition otherwise?
6:34 One base arrow.. all good until then. but plus two we have three?. which plus 2, I count 1 base 2 tattoes, and two passives from three. I count only 5. which one i missing?
Honestly with the helm enchant and 9+ main projectiles I don't think you even need to worry about using ballista anymore. You'll have an easy 20-30mil DPS or more from just TS, which is enough for everything.
At what level should you switch from the LS LA to the Tornado shot?
Any reason the TS gem that goes with ballista is capped at level 6 on the TS start POB?

Not sure if this has been talked about, but I was having trouble with reflect maps, and it turns out that manaforged-frenzy was causing the issue.
culling strike is not 10% more damage, it's 11.11...% more damage because it doesn't add 10% damage, it reduces the time to dps something down to 90% (time). so it's even better, yes. same thing with slayer culling strike.
the pob links correct? They have unique boots on them, and biscos leash. The mageblood one doesn't even have mageblood on it.

However, I am still wondering how many proj is soft or hard cap? I have 14 with greater proj + dying sun, nothing on my bow yet, and not sure whether change greater proj to chain maybe?
Also, I personally removed mark effect instead, and no issue for clearing, tried all, and seems best like that
Have you price-checked anything? :) It actually insane, even if you decide to get proj tattoo -12 divs, ench on helmet 15 div base..I have decent late LA in line with tuna guide, but every single upgrade is in range of 10div+, market gone wild. Not even start with Flash&Flame - they keep rising day by day now at 75+ divs for each...to get to mid tier TS you need now about 2 mirrors...very sad to be stuck with LA or entry TS, unles u hit jackpot or have no life...
I'm trying to do TS now. How is defense setup on this? full evasion ... evasion/armor... or just have such high dps everything dies instantly or you get 1-shot?
Adding a level range to the "Early - Mid - Late" to skill gems, so what level to change to Mid setup
I've come with a void damage setup with my tornado shot and does great damage. The survivability is inconsistent. Sometimes I can melt an entire map and sometimes I can get one tapped randomly. I've been stuck at lvl 88 since the first week of 3.22 and I'm on the verge of rage quitting..
I've gone to lvl 98 mapping, using only really cheap items apart from bow + uniques. if you struggle to level, just run some xp rotas?
@@j.p.8409 I've been doing this, following this build guide so closely and I still somehow randomly get one hit mid map even when I'm going through said map without a single issue. It just doesn't make sense. 8 hours of exp grinding just gone within minutes and it's such bullshit.
I guess I'm just supposed to farm low yellow maps until I level up enough to get more skill points and just hope I dont get one tapped anymore? I already have about 5-8 divines invested into this. I love this build, it's really fun but I'm hard stuck.
Fully leaning on tattoos with tree and base is insane, gmp gives you 10 ARROWS! This alone is why i want to swap, buuuuut dropping focal point for endless lets me drop gmp And still have 8 proj BUT CAN ALSO RUN AN EXTRA LINK WHICH COULD BE LIKE 60% MORE DAMAGE with still comfyproj count which sounds wild. Even at the loss of sniper ark power, we can still get teansfer from mastery until i can farm up a forbidden set. Its suuuuuuuuuch an interesting option!!!! More damage on every arrow and still up to 10 with dyingsun could make clear and mapping waaaaaaaaaaay better IF I CAN cap crit. Its wild!
I just want to chime in that "budget tornado shot" is a real thing at least for t16 maps and league mechanics. I have only invested about 6 divine so far and it feels great. I look forward to scaling it further.
Those proj tattoos alone cost 7 div :(
Yeah, you're still going to feel very "mid" as the kids say for bossing, but clear is excellent in red maps on low budget. I've spent another 20 divine and I can handle harvest mobs pretty well. A long way to go to be "god-tier."@@b0nes95
So is this build bad for bosses or not? I don't know why but I have gotten confused, I wanted to start Lightning Arrow and transition to Tornado Shot but not if it can't handle bosses in endgame.

can you do an omni variant cold convert tree for this please?
I'm wondering, what about cold conversion with a phys bow and maybe heatshiver vs your setup? Also could u make a guide for MF tornado shot? I feel there isnt many good guides out there
You need omni for cold conversion, becouse trinity doesnt work with full cold conversion. Then you have no penetration wich is awful. He mirrored the ele bow becouse he doesnt want to go omni, so he can only do ele trinity version.
Can also go alt quality TS with trinity if you wanted phys without glove slot or Omni.
@@aka_LocK Yeah you can, but then there is no point in the whole thing. The reason why the cold conversion is super powerful is becouse of double dipping on hatred. If you use alt qual TS then its pretty much the same as using a tri ele bow, or worse even, since ele bows can go up to 1500 dps.
@@bangomargit agreed that is not the most optimal for the cookie cutter TS build, but there are clearly other benefits that being phys adds when it comes gearing/gem'ing with that package. Ex. hatred watchers/ToH etc. to name a few.
@@bangomargitfalse, heatshiver gives both cold and fire dmg, it triggers trinity..
A quick question if you can answer, I have a TS enchanted Voll's Vision, lucked out in lab, is it possible to keep the rage setup?
I'm doing a rage+Omni setup at the moment. No problem with using Volls with enchant. Just note you cannot use corruptions and helm can't have extra suppression (save 2 points) or Eldritch mods (harder to ailment cap).
Since I went Omni I gave up on ailment cap long ago, and roll over desecrated ground since my chaos res is really low.
What about going triple ele bow vs phys to cold conversion? I got a headhunter in a map and thinking about where to go with TS, phys or ele bow. Phys scales better in endgame and with HH, so I've been thinking that I'll get more damage for less money

Hi Tuna. Recently swtich from LA to TS. I can almost oneshot even rares when alch and go, but I have a pretty low amount of attack speed for killing bosses. What are the cheapest and more end game options for more attack speed?
Also, do you think rage is mandatory or at least OP for TS or are other options like The Fledgling also good enough?
Rage generation glove, Kaom's Spirit, u need to rely on life gain on hit and leech for survival though. Use berserk skill at max rage. u probably want 500 life regen if u want mapping coverage. otherwise, 200-300 is good enough for bursting down boss and thic rare.
they said 700-800 regen has really good coverage during mapping. I personally never tried that.
Psa: suppresion tattoo only works when hit with a spell from a UNIQUE. Great for bosse sor exiles but otherwise not offtenly used yep
I can't get the 4th ramako tattoo to work on the second pob the one you have all the way at the bottom. any idea?

Do we still want a tri ele bow on the forbidden flesh/flame setup? Im new, just trying to figure out what kind of bow I need. Its also hard for me to tell when a bow with +1 or +2 projectiles but lower ele DPS is better than a bow with higher ele DPS
Ele bow with as much damage, crit and arrows as possible. Prioritise damage and crit since this league you can get a ton of arrows on the tree
I'm currently building this character and i'd like to include HH. Although i'm tempted to buy the flesh/flame jewels too. What would be the first upgrade between these two ? (Planning to mostly run juiced maps)
If you have hh you shouldn't need to ask that question. Unless you card swiped?
hello tuna i just have problem with skills fire an additional projectile tattoo i can't put it in my tree i have 7 passive skill allocated and small dex node just like u but i can't use it

19:19 unironically thats insane, now i understand why that thing exists and using a silly corrutped kikazaru with koams swap might literally be the reason i use my lv 98 character for my LA build and swap the tanky bosser gear to a new char to level up agani from 85 since i know my LA will die A LOT hahaha ~ the fact that i could get it all going perfectly, and thne just invest in the proj tattoos and save moeny for forbidden jewels and thne SWAP to tornado shot eventually when i get the gems and gear sorted and make LA feel liek it can survive t16s with proper rage regen is amazing!!! thanks for the shout but mannnnnnnnn no wounder juicers love this build cause some of this stuff is inanly expensive~ ive made maybe 20div a week and played after work or binged on weekends but ill never get close enoguh for any sort of properly mid tier tornadoshot build even by month 3 hahahaha~ but atleast the extra proj EVEN IF ITS JUST 2 from tattoos while i use lioneyes fall to fix my crit problems until clusters, is already insane. cheeeeeeeeeeeers

more than enough u can setup t16 maps with 15-20divs and then progress with gear easily, most expensive will be good bow but if u look good u can find reeeealy good bows for 10divs
hyrri irae is 4 div and the rest is really cheap and u can set it up how u want
how are you capping ur resistances ? the pob shows like no resistances on ur gear :/

Where does most of the damage from TS come from? im trying to make a TS omni build for the first time but im struggling to get past t5-t10 maps. Does it come from the bow and quiver or more from the passive skill tree or more from the gear (boots, gloves, helmet, body armour, rings, amulet, etc) I already have 1200 omni but i dont know how to get the damage up, currently sitting at 300k damage. Also thats a very good video explaining sutff, thx
Most damage is from a good bow and crits. You need 1000edps 8+ base crit bow to have a somewhat good dps
additional arrows are very good, but usually expensive, also crit is very important you need more than 80% ideally

So when is comes to nearby enemies are intimidated while you have rage, what is the range of it? Is it too close to consider even running it?
In the low budget TS pob I noticed there is a flask mastery which uses 4 passive points, is it required?
As for tota builds, there are plenty of insane ones, not to mention certain totem build that is simply bricking it ;D

I'm currently doing 60-80% deli scarab farms but I find that it takes a while to amass all the stuff I need to get the strat going (compasses, deli orbs, scarabs...) plus theres so much loot that falls that it takes my maps super long because of all the picking up. Is there anything that's as lucrative, but less time intensive for picking up and gathering stuff, that this build can run properly?

Wait did he say that path of building calculates the damage for 1 arrow? So you multiple your combined damage by how many arrows you have and thats your theoretical max dps? Also is that the same with other arrow skills?
Next to the Tornado Shot gem in the Skills tab of PoB on the far right is a "Count" button and you click that up to a # of arrows you're comfortable with. I.e., if you shoot 10 projectiles, you could put it up to 10 and then click the Include Full DPS button to see what you're actually hitting for if all 10 proj hit (best scenario). In reality not all proj may hit in your average content so set the Count to whatever you like. For me, I set it to half my total proj total for an average that if i shoot 10 proj, half will hit the target so i set the Count to 5 but your average left click can be any hits from 1 to 10.
It is not the same with arrow skills as he stated in the video, Tornado Shot is the only one capable of "shotgunning" a target as each tornado created is its own separate projectile. A lightning arrow for example can fire 10 projectiles but only 1 arrow is allowed to deal damage to a target (unless they return or bounce off another target later and return to hit the same target).
So if you want your "theoretical" max dps yes increase the count to what you can output and click Full DPS.
Hey ? How do you still get Onslaught if you have Dying Sun flask ? In the POB in configuration it says you have onslaught but just can't find where it is
I would prefer to keep onslaught with attk speek crafted than dying sun for speed farming
There is no dying sun in Pob, could you be looking at it wrong? He's using Silver Flask with increased effect and mageblood
He is using tattoo on Alacrity node to get onslaught on hit
So a bow with 850 dps, but 2 additional arrows is better than 1300 dps bow without arrows right?
first of all i want to say that this is a great Bow Build. Im playing POE now since 2014. Everytime when i started a Bow Build i fucked it up ..... this is my first Bow - Build and it is so fun ... of course i have a little question. Tornado Shot in the Totem on LVL 6 because of Mana right? I first didnt see it and i skilled the Totem TS till 18. Well i dont know after that it was a bit hard and i dont know why. Was dieng pretty often. But now everything cool. So why only on 6 is it for real just because of the Mana Probs? You did a great Job sir ty for this video :)

@@yunusdts just in case your still interested, after some playing I’ve coke to the conclusion to not spec into endless munitions because as he said in the video you can get an easy +4 projectiles with the 2 Ramako Makanga tattoos and 2 warriors tales which is possible with his build, it’s just a bit of dedication to getting like 5 divs to buy 1 or grind out tota

Great video, thanks Tuna! Where I have a different perspective is the „minimum requirement“ part. At least for me getting a high EDpS bow and a +1 Arrow Quiver has been enough to switch in the past few leagues. Granted, I use a TS character mostly to MF T16s without Delirium (except in Crucible where the bow was unethical). To eviscerate Legions, Essences and map bosses the roadblocks aren’t that high ever since elemental damage on bows was reworked.
Oh, I‘d be surprised if Hyrri’s rarity wasn’t increased significantly soon. It’s so easy to get a well-rolled one even in SSF and I‘d say it’s pretty hard to beat.

LA is better early, TS is better at doing all content and scales without needing to place ballista totems to help with single target dam.
