its a long process..but a labor of love.. its not that hard to do..in reality i spend a majority of time with it up in a braid or a bun..because it catches on everything...i never use heat or products other than shampoo..conditioner..and oils..(coconut and avocado)..just remember to massage your scalp..it helps a lot.

And you don't have to prove to no one your hair is real. Black woman can grow long hair but most lack the part of taking care of their own instead of a weave. And making sure your natural hair is healthy is the first part of growing long hair.

So I did the YUKO hair straightening system and its been one week with no heat and my hair already looks healthier and fuller. I can't say the length has hit yet but again its only been one week haha I'm giving it a full month to see a difference. I am keeping my hair hydrated and the tips mousturied so we will see, thanks!!

So due to this I would have to straighten it every day (took up too much time) even while using heat protectants and using masks on my hair the length was just not there because of the heat my ends were breaking off and wouldn't grow :( So YES I would recommend getting the yuko system done it'll change your hair life :) I slept normally didn't wrap my hair in anything just went to bed haha but I am so happy and my hair has grown tremendously in only two weeks going on week 3 this friday. I was advised by the salon to not get the Liscio treatment if you have Afro-textured hair, the lady was very nice and informative in letting me know since our hair is more drying the treatment can eventually lead to breakage. She also said she knows a lot of salons advertise that they can do Afro-Textured hair with the Japanese Straightening Treatment and end up damaging the clients hair.

Akaitslilly It has. My hair colour is naturally black but i have dyed it ever since 2010 into a chocolate brown/ caramel in summer, so you could imagine the damage i had caused. My ends were always dead, i always had breakages around my forehead, maximising my baby hairs, so ever since I've been using this (2+ years) my hair is LONGER, and thicker, and very smooth, i basically have no dead ends. Although it is recommended to still cut your ends every 3 months, which i only do every 5-6 because there are no split ends. You're meant to use the mask only once a week as it is more than enough, but i use it every time i wash my hair (2-3 times a week) as my hair condition was quite bad and hay-ish, and it became a habit as NO other conditioner did it for me. Its amazing, i recommend it 100%.

I got this treatment done and my hair fell out! It’s thin and the curls are not the same. Once you relax your curls it’s hard to go back. Be careful who you let do this treatment on your hair! Def do your research

I also live in Florida and I tried to go to Anna Bang hair design and I was very sad because they wouldn’t do my hair. I sent them pictures and because of one picture after the beach where my hair wasn’t looking flawless they said they wouldn’t do it and that I should reconsider getting it done. She gave the curls up! I love my hair straight but I just miss the volume when it's straight for some weeks, your hair is beautiful either way. And you don't have to prove to no one your hair is real. Black woman can grow long hair but most lack the part of taking care of their own instead of a weave. And making sure your natural hair is healthy is the first part of growing long hair.

How do you care for your roots when they grow out? What I mean is, japenese treatment makes your hair very straight but then when it grows back your roots are naturally curly so do you have to straighten them every day/week? I'm asking because I was interested in getting it done but I'm afraid of the results

Nita Carter I actually just tried this method for the first time. I didn't have a salon near me though so I bought the product online and went to a trusted hair dresser. It's definitely worth it because it cut down my hair manageability by so much. My hair feels healthy and is growing! I don't have to spend the dreaded hours and hours flat ironing my hair. I don't know why more people don't know about this method😂

So I did the YUKO hair straightening system and its been one week with no heat and my hair already looks healthier and fuller. I can't say the length has hit yet but again its only been one week haha I'm giving it a full month to see a difference. I am keeping my hair hydrated and the tips mousturied so we will see, thanks!!

Skye Summers Hey skye my hair is CURLY AND DRY! So due to this I would have to straighten it every day (took up too much time) even while using heat protectants and using masks on my hair the length was just not there because of the heat my ends were breaking off and wouldn't grow :( So YES I would recommend getting the yuko system done it'll change your hair life :) I slept normally didn't wrap my hair in anything just went to bed haha but I am so happy and my hair has grown tremendously in only two weeks going on week 3 this friday. I was advised by the salon to not get the Liscio treatment if you have Afro-textured hair, the lady was very nice and informative in letting me know since our hair is more drying the treatment can eventually lead to breakage. She also said she knows a lot of salons advertise that they can do Afro-Textured hair with the Japanese Straightening Treatment and end up damaging the clients hair.

Akaitslilly It has. My hair colour is naturally black but i have dyed it ever since 2010 into a chocolate brown/ caramel in summer, so you could imagine the damage i had caused. My ends were always dead, i always had breakages around my forehead, maximising my baby hairs, so ever since I've been using this (2+ years) my hair is LONGER, and thicker, and very smooth, i basically have no dead ends. Although it is recommended to still cut your ends every 3 months, which i only do every 5-6 because there are no split ends. You're meant to use the mask only once a week as it is more than enough, but i use it every time i wash my hair (2-3 times a week) as my hair condition was quite bad and hay-ish, and it became a habit as NO other conditioner did it for me. Its amazing, i recommend it 100%.

I got this treatment done and my hair fell out! It’s thin and the curls are not the same. Once you relax your curls it’s hard to go back. Be careful who you let do this treatment on your hair! Def do your research

I also live in Florida and I tried to go to Anna Bang hair design and I was very sad because they wouldn’t do my hair. I sent them pictures and because of one picture after the beach where my hair wasn’t looking flawless they said they wouldn’t do it and that I should reconsider getting it done. But I found someone else at Envy Me hair salon in Orlando and she did a fantastic job. I love my hair and I am going back for my 2nd treatment in a couple of weeks. Thanks for making this video. I wouldn’t have known about the treatment otherwise.
