I watched your videos from the beginnings with Alex filming and before you had baby Eden. You started RUclips a long time ago and now you are becoming renowned for your art and craft of makeup and the beauty industry in general. You deserve nothing but, the BEST!!! If I’m a woman investing in bags with my own money, nothing I receive from brands I’m a show off. This is a nice change and addition to your regular content. Your handbag collection is timeless and the quality and craftsmanship of those leather goods will indeed last a lifetime. I know because I have 4 of the items you showed us, and like I now have beautiful vintage bags passed to me by my mother, I intend to do the same with my daughter-in-laws (I have 2 sons) and my granddaughter one day.

For the ladies who are looking for the craftmenship but do not want to pay for the name, if you are looking for Bottega Veneta bag. I met in Florence the artisan who was making the bags for Bottega. Actually it was a Bottega shop, but after the brand was bought by Gucci, they moved the production. Now, in the same location, Piazza Ognissanti, he has his own brand producing luxury leather goods, as he was doing for three generations. It is now called Bottega Giotti.
Hope this is helpful if you are looking for a good bag, Italian craftsmanship and fair price.
I bought a bag from Bottega Giotti this past October. Absolutely beautiful bag. I’m so in love with it!! I would highly recommend buying from them.
I have a Michael Korrs Sutton satchel small in grey & i adore it. I got it from a lovely lady who bought it in New York at Saks for a fabulous deal & it is my love.
I bought the Bottega Cabat and love it because it doesn’t have a zip (which could break after about 25 years use) and no hardware so it goes with absolutely everything. I use it in the summer as a basket bag. It is the most expensive thing I have ever bought and will not be repeated because I try hard to use what I buy for many decades

How you started, what school you went to (if you did), and just advice for people who want to become a professional makeup artist. I've seen so many influencers who say they're makeup artist and not to be mean, but their level of knowledge and the quality of their makeup looks pales in comparison to yours lol Thank you so much for all you do with your channel. watching you reminds me how I felt when i was 15 and just discovering makeup and how excited I was to play and have fun :)

That's the attitude! I look after my bags but just the same thing I do for my shoes - a bit of leather care, I want them to last and look good. All my bags fit in a big chest drawer ( I prefer them on the smaller side).
I totally get that you use the best quality makeup products which by default tends to be at the top of the range price point on your tutorials , as it’s your job and only the best products can be used on your clients but as you also know most people in real life including some of your followers can’t really afford those products however still it’s great to see an artist doing what she does best even if we can’t relate to the products .It’s worth noting that these products in general out of reach of ordinary people , most of us , especially after Covid, have had to make big changes to our life styles and perhaps luxury items are not part of every day life in ordinary people’s lives. I don’t know if showing your personal collection of high quality end handbags is what you should be using your platform for I find it very insensitive considering the times we live in .

Watch Tanner Leatherstein to understand the "luxury" brand market... just prepare to accept the 💔. Expensive... does not mean value for money. Often times it means the brands overvalue their brand itself.

Good video and nice change from the makeup. I like a good leather bag but I prefer a smaller size as my shoulder hurts when I lug a big bag around. I find a crossover bag comfortable for every day use . I normally use black in the winter too.

Love this video Andrea! I have the small Jodie in Fondant and it’s beautiful. It looks to be the same size as yours and I know the small is actually bigger than the teen. From smallest to largest they are Candy, Mini, Teen, Small and Medium. There used to be a Large but I that’s maybe discontinued.

Hi Andrea, I love all your bags and I believe that a nice bag elevates every look.
But to be honest none of the shown bags is really worth the money. A good leather bag should not cost thousands of euros just because it has the Dior or Hermes sign on it plus we don't have to defend even in front of ourselves a purchase by saying "it never loses its value". You love a bag, you have the money, spend it and enjoy it - for yourself for anybody else.
Absolutely. I'm not interested in parting with $$$ , especially in this inflationary economy, just to make famous designers even wealthier.
The Hermes is an investment because people believe it is worth more than she paid for it, and are willing to pay her considerably more than she bought it for.
While I agree with you that making a handbag purchase should be based more on whether it brings you joy rather than on its potential resale value, I have discovered long ago that when purchasing an item (and this is for many categories, including real estate) its worth is what you are willing to pay for it. Having said that, if quality and craftsmanship is what you appreciate, which to me is what defines luxury more so than a logo, and if you wish that item to last, then in general, Dior, Bottega Veneta and Loewe are brands that deliver. Hermès also is in this category but there is something undesirable about the way you are made to play the waiting game.
@@o.m.6374 Yes, I agree that price alone shouldn't be the deciding factor, but you are paying an absurd premium for status. It's not difficult to get a well-made bag with quality materials for a reasonable price. I don't think a Hermes bag is worth the price. That's my opinion.
