Shoutout to Kyle for being in this video btw :D
I think this video is for you
Try a heel clicky kicky
The last one is just wild 😂
Someone is going to eat dirt 😂
Another quick tip:
Do the opposite once you can catch the board every try, land only with the front foot, so you won’t begin flicking down and not being able to land with both feet once you commit to landing.
I've started kicking down and didn't realize it till now cause I've got the flick but front foot goes to the side. When should I flick to ensure my front foot stays up
I think it should be a circular motion, after you get the flick, pull your leg up and down after your back foot catch he’s the board and stops the spin
@@Anthony-ye8jr flick forward out towards the nose as your foot slides up. Kicking down will make you miss a lot
Thank you bro this haloed me so much😅
How to get the board off the group 🙏
My brain:I can do it
My leg:💀
Yes! Do not get in the habit of taking your back foot off!!! Love this
On this day (June 21, 7:00 pm) I landed my first kickflip! Thank you so much for helping me with all my tricks, encouraging me to skate, and for making skateboarding fun! 🖤🖤🖤
G!!@yy
HELLL YESSS RANDOM COMMENT SCROLLER AND HELLA PROUD OF YOU,(might be a little late) and what progress have you made in the last 8 months?
WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
LESS GOOO
YEAHH, how’s your progress been since then, do you still skate?
I landed my first kickflip 3 days ago and this Tip helped me so much for understanding the proper flick!
yo i never seen this tip before this smart af
It sounds so crazy that I actually think it might work..
Landing with one foot is arguably harder than landing with both 😂😂😂
oh shit that's actually a really good advice. WT heck.
Solid, glad this helped :)
It's awful advice.
@@Dontbustthecrust why
@@naesmitty3888 First of all, this video was posted on April 1, obviously a joke. Second, this is pretty dangerous, it would be super easy to slip back and get hurt.
@me-qo2rj the only joke part is the last step dumbass
I think it's also very important to mention to some that you're technically learning a new coordination skill, so it's important to remember where you focus your pressure on the feet and at what timing, how much, etc.
Mans laughing at the end while flexing on us 😂
Thanks that’s so useful
Finally something new I can try to get my Ollie’s goong
bro this is the best advice ever wtf u are a genius
This is acually a good tip! This was exactly what i was looking for! Thx
Great videos !
I really enjoy this style of content.
I’ve subscribed.
i wish i could catch with front foot. i’ve always caught with back foot and i hate the way it looks
Wow thanks!! After your comment on my other kickflip question I already 2 kickflips in a row, and after seeing this tutorial I feel like I can fully commit, thanks Jason!!🔥🔥 (I will leave an edit later if I can fully commit)
Awesome, I'm glad this helped :D Stomp those kickflips!!
thank you g
Tq very much !
Omg exactly what i needed. You have me hyped for tomorrow.
Thank you!
BROOOO I NEEDED THIS❤
Nice tutorial
Thank you for sharing, it is nice to try.
Thank you bro
The last step I said “HAH, Yea right!” 😂😂
Bro thank you so much! I've been wanting to add more lines in my videos, and kickflips have been kicking my butt lol
Thats exactly my issue thanks for the tip!!!!!🤩
Bro, you are making it harder...like landing with one foot 😮
Ima try it though 👌
Great advice and also love the mgmt shirt 👌👌
This video helped me land my first kf thank you🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yeah I can almost do kickflip but I am scared to land on primo 😭
landing with one foot only and keep balance is a brilliant idea, I can land a regular kickflip but that one was even harder 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
if you have a problem to put your both feet just try one foot kickflip
Having a novice skater learning kickflips land with one leg on the back is a recipe for cracking their head open. Just use a bar over grass like bleachers at football fields or something or lean up against a wall with your hands when you learn them. This wasnt bad, but not what I would recommend to newer skaters learning to kickflip
Totally, land with one foot and ear dirt and possibly break something in your body… nope
I am having issues flipping the board, ig I'm not popping the back hard enough idk
Just wow!
“land with just your back foot” yeah okay and bust my ass
Niiiiice, I will try that 100% !
I just learned my first kickflip because of you😁😁😁
I can’t get my back foot to go on it’s always my front foot only but I think I’m begging to understand how to get my back foot on now
Can you do this with pop shuvit please
I'll try lol, Nice method
This would help but unfortunately I can only seem t land with my front. Anyone got any tips?
Biggest tip to get clean kickflips or to commit: keep your shoulders straight like the board and stay above the board
i just want to ollie😭
Keep practicing
I have the same board!
The Last part of the process looks dangerous as fuck
Landing like that is *definitely* easier than landing with both feet amiright? 😜
No...no no no no sir no anytime I've ever landed a kickflip with on foot only it zooms out from under me lol I've been skating since 1994 and that looks sketchier to me than landing primo lil
Lol think about what a one foot primo landing would be like 😂
@@RegularJason plz no lol
@@RegularJason its a bit of a troll. most skaters cant even ride with just their back foot on the board.
I can land my front but my problem is not getting me back foot high enough off the ground
Try practicing an ollie south. It helps with the back foot. Also try to jump up after the pop. Not back or forward, but straight up. Then try to keep your knees bend during the flick. It sounds hard and you want to land with most of your knees bend also, so think of it as being crouched most of the time. In the crouched position, try to look where you want to land (ie. above the board).
I was having a problem balancing on the skate board at all.
Great content! Love your videos!
Thank you!
@@RegularJason no problem! Keep up the great videos!
Step 3 sends you to the shadow realm if you do it wrong but looks sick af if you land it
This is the riskiest hack to kickflip
Should your front foot weight be more center on toes or heel
Love the shoes (306 are my favorite shoes
Im wanting to start skating soon and LEGIT this is my school what in the- I am bamboozled
I have problems at jumping😢
My problem is to catch the board with the front food 😢
W lesson
I should try this with back foot and front foot.
This is my problem is my back foot it goes automatically back to the ground when i pop i try to lift amd tuck but have problems been teying for years frustrating but ill keep trying
i’m stuck on the last step
I have the oppisite problem i cant land with my front foot
Aww landed tq✨️✨️✨️💖
Broke my ankle. What's the next step?
Bro almost landed a primo 😟
That just looks even more difficult lol
Aaaah you got me.
I'm a firm believer of always catching front foot first. It's a better and safer catch. The last thing you want to do is f your shit up cause you landed Manny and your front foot isn't back to balance the board.
Landing it with one foot-! Should have known
OMG I HAVE THAT HAT
Me watching this who's been skating for like 2 weeks and can't do a proper ollie yet: 🧐
Lol wait this seems actually the best solution for me imma try tmr
the kickflip with one foot is kinda sick actually
I can kickflip and I've landed like 3 today but I'm working my ass off trying to get consistency, I'll try the landing on just the back foot part maybe gravity will just take my front foot to the board if I do that
Edit: got them still need work but at least I'm getting more consistent
Edit 2: I can now kickflip basically every try. Gotta get them higher now.
Update: I'm consistent now I just landed 9 in a row the other day and they were all back foot catch, also got 5 bucks for landing one first try the day after that
Try to leave your foot out when you flick that way the board should come up and meet your feet .
That's a heelflip my guy
Easy enough
That catch in the beginning was awful tbh 😂
I was scared it looked like it was going primo
Step 1 -doable
Step 2- of course
Step3 -…….dude…. What the absolute fuck was that 😭🤌
And how to flip the board????
What about not landing with your frontfoot?
What shoes are you wearing? Those look sick !!!!
blazer low gt pro i think
Duh why did t I think of that land it with the one foot and don’t fall
Until you jump to step 3: smash your grill on the ground, goes to ER with concussion 😆
Wish somebody had shown me this when I was 12
Problem is I can't flip it
How does this help teach you how to catch with both feet this will only help with your back foot
Best thing I learned IS POP THE BOARD MAKE SURE YOU POP!!! THE BOARED
yo i got the same deck 👍🏻
i tried this n ate absolute shit😂
Dont do skateboarding with one foot, you will get injury
Bro the first one is the literal worst example of how to land. Tutorial: how to snap your board not aiming for the bolts
I can land one footed but it's my front lol
The front foot is better than no foot! Good job! I am proud of you! :)
What funny is that I learned heelflip before kick
Have any budget friendly complete skateboards for beginners? 👩🚀
I'd recommend going to a local skate shop (as opposed to a generic sports store) to get your first board -- the ppl there should be able to help you pick something good out. Otherwise, online skate shops have some great completes. Completes usually run $70 to $100. Have fun learning!!
@@RegularJason could you recommend some local skate shops? tHe tHuMbNaiL iS mY sChoOl 🙂
Ha, nice!! A few local shops I've been to: "Circle-A Skateboards and Coffee", and "Mainland Skate & Surf"
@@RegularJason awesome I’ll check those out thanks!
