I’m learning, and wanted to know what you are thinking when doing the sequence, what are you imaging, visualising…

I am trying to understand the yin and Yang aspect, I would like to feel the ‘meeting point’ I need to feel it but don’t know how, I thought I could if I understand what your thoughts are at that moment…

Just be mindful of what is happening in your body - Are you carrying out the sequence as intended, 1(S)-2(E)-3(W), 3-2-1…? How relax are you while carrying out the action?

@@kulvinderrayat7458 Focus on yourself, be aware of the internal flow within your body. Your body will know when it has reached its limit and when it encounters the force of rebound.

I try to slow it down to feel what’s happening inside. I’m methodical in how I think A leads to B and leads to C… but I am not sure what I am looking/feeling for when doing the sequence… wanted to know what you were experiencing during this time

@@kulvinderrayat7458 Great question! The sequence is designed with a clear purpose, where each form has a specific application. By understanding the application deeply, you'll gain a clearer sense of what your body needs to do when performing the movement. That said, what you're looking for might vary depending on your current stage of learning-it’s all part of the journey! the english subtitle is great.
i still don't get the retreat 3-2-1 movement though. after 1-2-3, the elbow points downward, so in 3-2-1, does it rotate upward?

The position of the elbow is a dynamic one, and is relative to the shoulder and wrist. Better think of it in terms of a 3-dimensional space. 1(Shoulder)-2(Elbow)-3(Wrist) is the advancing motion which is spiraling (left and right), floating (up and down), and expanding (front and back). 3(W)-2(E)-1(S) is the retreating motion of spiraling, sinking and contracting.

@@palmspringstaichi oh thank you very much :D i think the term "sinking" is the key i'm looking for.
