You only get around 21% chance of getting into scotch gambit if you want to, according to the lichess database for games of players of rating 0-1800. KID, london, stonewall or other system based openings are much better fit for a speedrun, since they don't depend on the moves of the opponed to that much extent. Also, scotch is lame.
@@NakaT88 How would you play scotch against scandi, petrov, french or elephant gambit? You would ignore completely what opponent does and start with the same setup? Then it's no longer scotch gambit speedrun, it's e4-nf3-d4-bc5-yolo.
I am not going to lie, 31 minutes in, I already love this video : no BGM. That's perfect. Let's just say that everybody's tastes are differents. For exemple, I love the english opening, and the english speedrun is awesome, ... but I just don't want to watch it again because of the BGM ( muting the sound cuts the very interesting comments, so that doesn't work ). Thank you for your work, for sharing, and for cuting off musical distraction.
