- www.billytaylorjazz.com presents a unique piano duo, Billy Taylor and Buddy Greco. Most people know Buddy, who hails from Philadelphia, as a singer but he has deep Jazz history, having played piano in the Benny Goodman big band.

I met Buddy many times, was at his 90th birthday party in Las Vegas. What a night! Even though he was ill, many people went to his table, myself included and was able to talk to him. A great talent and a class act!
Buddy was a great musician and wonderful man.
@@JazzVideoGuy Agreed, I was able to go to Buddy Greco’s Dinner Club in Palm Springs! We spoke for awhile and he could not have been more gracious!! Nice to hear from those that respected his talent!
Thank you so much for the kind words about my Dad. I was lucky enough to be his drummer the last 2 years his club was open and we toured England as well. I'm a rock musician who can't read music and he absolutely loved my playing.

High quality sound and video here of Billy Taylor and Buddy Greco (what year was it recorded?) in a piano duet - totally improvised of course. Buddy is a great pianist and singer - known widely for his rendition of The Lady Is a Tramp. There's not nearly enough of him available yet on RUclips - been a fan of his since seeing him on Australian TV in the sixties. You really ought to hear his version of Tenderly ! Here Buddy and Billy caress the lovely song We'll Be Together Again.
