Even though it probably doesn't disable throws for a very long time, it's still overpowered. Basically, if Johnny techs the throw and just happens to guess right, the opponent loses the ability to use basic game mechanics. We all know how important throws are in the rock/paper/scissors mix up that is core to the game. Really a dumb mechanic, you get punished and handicapped simply for attempting to throw and Johnny guessing right. Yes it costs 1 bar, but it's one bar very well spent.
The teabagging into taunt is funny cuz it rewards teabaggers for the taunt but punishes them because they are vulnerable in an animation now they have to time their teabags when the enemies are knock down or only do two downs xD

That training gave JC a huge power boost and it is not well explained in MKX. Liu(the mk1 writers) definitely did not like Johnny replacing him and fighting off shinnok.

Rush down in a game full of zoners, a combo break and a special move charge system. Johnny is going to extremely frustrating to play. Unless that dash in move goes through projectiles or has start up invulnerability it’s pointless, low punch or kick will neutralize it
