at 57, i've seen, read ,heard, experienced a seemingly universal phenomenon of couples not communicating--a 'just do it' approach to their relationship, that has been stuck in failure-mode since, probably, the 50s; it took about 3yrs of visiting Facebook in complete bewilderment, as to what this is, before it finally hit me, that Facebook is for standard-american-smalltalk-only, i.e., completely dedicated to shallow communication, by shallow people (who may hold advanced degrees in something!)
