    Nice video. I had a good Lake Trout action on Lake Ontario northern shore throughout May 2022. Smallest fish 8 lb largest 25, average 10-15lb, same setup

    Great video. Was out on the 13th and picked up 8. When you are running in-line weights, how far in front of the flasher do you have the weight?

      Hey Bob - Thanks for asking. The in-line weight rods are 20lb braid to a 20lb mono leader. The inline weight is a rod length, about 7 feet above the dodger. That’s also the length of the leader. Good luck!

      Spoons are usually on weighted line like leadcore or copper

      @Russell’s Fishing Tech I am just using mono with an inline 1/4 ounce weight. Sorry for the confusion. I'm fishing from a kayak. I would be fishing the top 15 ft of water. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I purchased a few SAMs releases from TRS this season, and have to admit, I can’t get them to work for me. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Watched the videos, just can’t get them to release cleanly no matter the tension I set.
