The final preparations are underway. The boat has been cleaned, the holder for our iPad has been fitted and we have tested Navionics, which we will use to navigate.
Great to have you here! We, Emely and Tjark, have fulfilled our dream of having our own sailing boat, a Maxi84, relatively spontaneously and without the really big money.
We still have to rename the boat Meera.
We take you with us on our journey from complete beginners to hopefully passable sailors. Before we can throw ourselves into the waves, we still have a mountain of work ahead of us. Modifications, alterations and above all the sports boat licence have to be done. We also have to learn how to sail properly. So you can already look forward to the next videos!
