Good luck to the restaurant and very kind gesture especially in this day and age when most businesses are obsessed with taking as much money as possible from customers.Interesting review and if l lived close by l would definitely visit for the lunchtime specials.
Thanks for watching Steve and yes its a brilliant thing they are doing , I will be going back for the lunchtime specials as they look terrifiv value , Regards Kev
I loved my visit to Santinni's, great food and great staff and a really good atmosphere as well but I never knew about the offer for OAP's, maybe I do not look old enough :o). OMG, I hope I was not that older man eating alone in there, that they were describing in the paper LOL! Cheers Alan
Hi Alan funny you should say that about you been the old man .......And i did ask them if it was you and they did say you had been in LOL , Funny you should mention that as i asked if he wanted to see my driving license and he said no your bus pass will do , Hey you were right though what you said a great atmosphere in there with terrific staff and if it wasnt for your video i wouldnt have thought about checking them out . Thanks mate and catch you in the next one `
@@roger5159 Hi Roger and yes I was well impressed with the hospitality and such a nice place i plan to take my wife there for a full meal , Thanks for watching, Regards Kev
Hello Kevin, an old-fashioned looking local cafe. People who want to serve their community. For that alone. I wish them all success they deserve. Homemade soup&bread. Down here in London, greasy spoon £3/4. Posh end up market £8/12. From good folk FREE. And it's not just the meal, it's meeting other people, talking to people, not being alone for a hours even days. Fresh home cooking. It's a lifesaver ❤❤😊😊The owners should get mentioned in dispatchs, they are showing the current Government how to be compassionate. To me they seem to be happy to cover costs plus a small profit. Not taking everyone for a ride or ripping off their customers. Bless 'em all. Brilliant local video, an so interesting and informative. Your choice of content Kevin shows how U Tube can be used well. Allan&Family
Allan: Santinis is not a Cafe, they are a lovely Italian Restaurant ... not been going for long, but are first class in our very small town Shildon (rated one of the cheapest house prices in County Durham) I lived there for four years.
Hiya joline 2730,don't get hung up on a word. You seem to be thinking of a " greasy spoon " cafe in the English style 💭🤔And let's be honest there's nowt wrong with them. My use of the word " cafe " in this context, we're literally going to Paris, Rome, Madrid lovely family run, happy places. The places tourists fall in love with. Locals drinking vino, young and old mixing together. That's a proper old-fashioned cafe. My intention was to praise all concerned with Santinis. For recreating the vibe of community that's hard to find. in England. So hopefully have a very merry Christmas, raise a glass of wine and be glad to live in such a wonderful place, and may the New Year bring you joy, health, happiness ❤🎉Allan&Family

Looks nice pal get you're bread dipped
Thanks for watching pal and I normally do that but probably would have needed a bib as I am a messy eater and would have dribbled soup all over my top
