It's almost like there has to be that threat of you being able to leave at time-which means living separately and no marriage -to keep them in line. Men love ideally and women love conditionally so you can never count on them staying around long term. Understanding that life is no a Hallmark movie doesn't mean your jaded, it just means you understand women. A comedian once said "women understand women and that's why they hate each other."

We as men are viewed as utilitarian in nature and once we don't provide that we are disposable. That's why men should check out of the marriage and children game because if things end she will take half your stuff, get custody of the kids, and you'll be paying child support and alimony.

Thanks bro. What I needed to hear. Been texting with a very good looking girl from a dating app basically 24/7 for a week. I'm also good looking and have a good job and lot of female interest. Anyways, then we were supposed to meet the week after and on Monday I offered 3 different days. She said she could only do Sunday afternoon but oh yeah you're already busy there. What made me more annoyed was that she listed all her non important things to do on the other days (eat ice cream with friend, go to gym with friend, go for coffee with friend).
