U should show right way too .
confusing video. what is the use of the video?
😮 OMG 😳 👍🏻 🤍🤍
Yes but why why why??!!! I sleep like this but when I slept that my belly hurts😟
@@wanidatarawet7010٠0 ج🎉
At least you could tell how to do the right way, not just showing no and no
Crct..
Sleep on Ur left side mostly... avoid sleeping on Ur back
Guess you are just not allowed to sleep anymore 🙂 (sarcasm)
Exactly 🤣
And explain why not too wtf, this video os pointless
So basically no sleep at all then.
Lol that’s what she want no sleep 😅
😂😂😂
ههههه يمكن هيك
A that me waah know too🤦everyday these videos confuse me
THIS
So you're telling us to sleep in standing position?
😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
my mom who had 5 kids told me to lay however i feel comfortable.
Good advice to listen to your body! Usually staying in body alignment prevents common pregnancy aches and pains.
Doctor sayed the same for me, i try only one side but i can't, i always turn around
My doctors told me the same!!!!
Yes i agree! I tried the position that many video shows but I always get hurt.
Yup! Same. I’m 6.5 mths and can still sleep on my stomach really comfortably.
My dr said I was fine sleeping on my belly if it’s comfortable. She said bc the baby is very well protected it’s not gonna pose a threat. Back sleeping is not good bc the weight of the baby can sit on your spine and put pressure on your inferior vena cava. Which can cause still birth.
Immediately moves from back to belly lol
@@Lavender_Roseee ur doctor is 100 percent correct no harm in belly sleeping during pregnancy it can only make u uncomfortable that’s all
If it is comfortable, it is bad 😂 You can sleep on your side (preferably left due to the way your digestive system works) with a pillow between your legs, trying to align your body in an ideal position. Back sleeping can stop bloodflow and stomach sleeping can squish the baby. I'm 38 weeks and basically don't get any sleep anymore. Baby doesn't like any position I sleep in 😂
I'm 26 weeks and my biggest sleep issue is my bladder! 😂 my son seems to like to squeeze it the second any liquid is inside, so I'm up, peeing, every hour or so! 😂❤
Same here😂😂😂😂, I no longer get good sleep, everytime I have to wake up to empty my bladder
Stomach sleeping is not harmful to the baby only can get uncomfortable for the mother otherwise there is no harm
How 38 ?? It must be 34 end
@@kambakambatena6878 40 weeks is full term...
I like videos tht show the dos as well as the don't. This one is making me angry.
😂😂😂
So I should just sleep sitting up, standing up, and laying against the wall in a standing position? GOT IT!!👍🏾
The best positions are modified version of side laying which I go into detail in the full video on my channel.
I'm pregnant and I swear I don't remember last time I slept. I'm loosing my mind. There is no comfort no matter which way you sleep.
I saw a pregnant lady hanging like a spider to a tree .. now i know why..!!
What do I do stand up and sleep
Basically! No jk! It’s all about proper pillow placement for side lying and I have my favorite position on my newest video on my channel. 🥰
You should get one of those pregnancy pillows
honestly feel whatever is comfortable for you. Just try to lay on your sides and your baby will always let you know!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How I sleep after watching this: 🧍🏽♀️
😅😅
Hahahaaaaaaa
sleep which way is comfortable for you, im currently pregnant and my baby kicks like crazy if i sleep on my side or any other way , i have to lay on my back , ive been laying on my back since the beginning of my, pregnancy im currently 33 weeks , ive seen multiple pregnant females say that theyve laid on their stomach, their back, etc
Only because they move alot and the cord can get caught up around there neck
@@DominiqueColeman-s7r It's not about the cord wrapping around the neck... When you sleep on your back after the second tri- it restricts blood flow by pinching the major blood vessels supplying blood to your uterus, and baby. There are also studies that suggest it increases the risk of stillbirth by x2.
Sleeping on your side, preferably the left, is safest. But if you wake up on your back, don't worry.
I also feel more comfortable on the back, side ways I easily get tired
So how must you sleep? Standing?
On your sides or kinda like your sitting up with pillows around you , sleeping on your back and on your belly actually cuts oxygen to your baby , it’s the number one cause of stillbirths , if you know you can’t handle this type of sleeping situation I would really reconsider getting pregnant because once you become pregnant it’s not about you anymore it’s about the baby and what is safe 🤷🏽♀️ trust me it wasn’t easy sleeping on my sides throughout my entire pregnancy but it was well worth it once my daughter was born ❤️🙏🏽
So to those asking what position you can sleep in. Studies have shown that the lotus position or the downward dog is best. And for those very advanced in pregnancy, levitation is the only safe method. She will demonstrate this in her next video, which will be just as helpful as this one.
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Lay how ever your comfy. Duh!
Edit: I have layed on my back a lot during my whole pregnancy cause I can’t control what positions I go to in my sleep and my baby is healthy and strong. Stop letting people tell you what to do and do what feels right.
This is exactly the right answer. If it’s uncomfortable or hurts don’t do it. Your body will tell you when to move
I always wake up on my back 😂
@@ambermae09 yup me too. Even now that I am no longer pregnant and I can sleep on my tummy again I always end up on my back
(I had my little girly July 9th)
I was about to ask cause have been feeling too scared for my baby. I can’t stop laying on my back I don’t know why and I was told it’s not good,I should only sleep on my left side.
@@KeepingupwithEstherr It's not like your on your back 247 so baby should be fine like mine is :) No one can help what positions they take in their sleep so relax a bit more and don't stress cause that hurts baby more than anything. Stress. Doctors are told in books and paper what's right and there is no other option but it's never the same for anyone pregnancy. Listen to your body and if your body is going on it's back in your sleep well so be it! But I am biased against doctors lol dont trust em or like em I always go with what feels right not what they say is right. Like letting my baby sleep as long as she wants. She now sleeps through the night and is up most of the day and she is only 4 months and growing strong! Also already feeding her here and there and she's loving it! She's a little piggy like me!
They told me no back sleeping and guess what my first pregnancy I slept only on my left side for the ENTIRE PREGNANCY and I cried myself to sleep most nights cuz of how squished my leg felt and how uncomfortable I was (I'm a back sleeper) well I have my beautiful baby boy now and I'm creating a new baby boy I'm 37 weeks now and I've been putting a pillow under the right side of my back and sleeping with my bellybutton "up" like she's showing us not to and I've gotten the best sleep of my freaking life this whole pregnancy. If you are lying down and get nauseous or dizzy it's probably because it on the spot they don't want you on so put a lil pillow behind it back and it don't matter if ur belly button is "pointing up" out to the side trust me my pregnancy is going great and when im laying down like that is when baby kicks the most so he must like it too 🤷🤷🤷 SLEEP COMFY MAMAS DONT LET THIS SCARE YOU!! You will most likely realize ur dizzy or nauseous before it cuts off any circulation to your baby
I agree with you momma! The “belly button up” on your side position isn’t about safety. It is about sleeping in pelvic alignment in late pregnancy so that baby can get in the most optimal birth position for an easier birth experience. I personally usually sleep however I feel most comfortable until the last couple weeks! Also this short has a long form video that goes into way more detail. Hope that helps!
So what the hell can I do?😭
Stand and sleep against the wall ig 😂
Sleep has been such a struggle for me for this reason. I’ve been stressing on not sleeping on my back cause I’ve caught myself doing it a few times but it makes me wake up multiple times a night. My back hurts so much that side sleeping sounds awful especially all night long. The struggle is very real. 😩😂
I can relate😂
I'm most comfortable sleeping on my stomach. I almost always have a leg crooked. I continued doing that whenever and for however long as it was comfortable. No direct pressure once my belly got too big. Some nights I couldn't sleep any other way. You've basically named every way to sleep as wrong.
To those who is pregnat like me. My advice is.... As long as your comportable with your slepping position just fine. As long as you sleep well... 😊
So difficult at night sleep😢 I have twins 28week😊😊
Then tell which one is the correct position
In the past women where sleeping as they were feeling comfortable and they had healthy babies.
I don't think she is saying to avoid these positions because it will harm baby. It's more because these positions can worsen common aches and pains the mother may experience during pregnancy.
As much as I use this argument too, I want to add nuance here that we don't really know how much of this is true. Also, people these days lead different lives -- softness of the bed, lifestyle activity level that impacts muscle development differently, knowledge transfer between generations or people who've had children before.
I pray that I don’t harm my baby, she’ll flutter around if I’m making it uncomfortable, and it’ll wake me but I sleep whatever feels natural for me
Me too , sometimes I'm so tired that I don't even know if I turn but my baby's kick wakes me up . I hope is all good . 😑😬
So should pregnant women sleep in standing position?
So basically sleep standing up. Got it 👍
Sooo, don't lay down at all?
How about sleeping on a recliner chair ?
Leave us alone… we are already tired and doing our best. May God keep our babies safe! This is just too stressful
😏 I caught myself in midst of the night sleeping on my back numerous times. I’d re-positioned to sleep on my left side but end up waking up on my back. I’m 5 months pregnant and my baby movements are strong it’s already bringing me discomfort….
🙌 Thanks Jesus
That’s not true. I am at 38 weeks and I sleep on my belly. There is no problem with this at all. When you can sleep on your belly, do it. There’s no scientific evidence that it’s bad or can cause any harm. May be uncomfortable for many women but as a belly sleeper this is the only position I can fall asleep right now.
What of some of us that once we sleep, it gets so deep that we don't even know the position anymore
Sleeping on my back with some pillows under me is sadly the only one that I can do.
So no need to sleep 🤔
Sleep how you are comfortable. Your body lets you know if it's not good. Sometimes I can lay on my back, other times I feel nauseous or woozy and have to switch to a different position. The "suggested position" is left side with pillows between your knees and ankles, and prop your head up for congestion. But sometimes that makes me woozy, so you know. Don't sleep. But "sleep as much as you can" 🙄 3.5 weeks to go!
I’m currently 36 weeks and I am sleeping sitting up with a c pillow and an 📐 angled pillow to support my back and neck. Still not comfortable and I haven’t slept much im the last few days.
im 26 weeks and sleeping with my belly button pointed or angled is the worst position rn oddly side sleeping is the most comfortable
You didn't leave other sleeping styles. Is there any other positions?
Thank you
I wake up on my back all the time. Which is odd bc I have never slept on my back in the past. I'm too pregnant to care. So long as I'm not hurting and ACTUALLY SLEEPING (rarer than you think) I could care less. Baby is perfect, aside from being slightly overdue.
Just sleep as you are comfortable, this is what I learned from my pregnancy 😊
This is so great, positioning is so important
I don't even know the position who make me sleep until I wake up
I always find it funny how everyone says no to sleeping on you back and yet that only seems to be the way i can get some sleep is on my back and im almost 8 months pregnant
Same!
@@judy3460yup me too!
yup me too!
Same
Same here... Having back ache all the time it's most Comfortable position for me also belly button pointing and placing cushion in your inner thighs....
So sleeping standing up?
Only in the last trimester it's adviced not to lay on your back because the weight may rest on some nerve and cause poor blood flow to your uterus. Only mothers can know your back hurts as hell and resting on your back for sometime would be a great relief.
I sleep however I want to. I can barely move as it is when I'm sleep... pillows on both sides.
I love the part where she tells us how to do it correctly ☺️
I been sleeping on my back with both of my pregnancies and ain’t nothing wrong with it
My chiropractor said ankles not supported is fine for me. My obi said sleeping only my back is fine as long as it’s comfortable. 🤷🏻♀️
So basically y’all aren’t allowed to sleep is what she’s saying
Lol
Lol
I’m 35 weeks pregnant and sleep on my back just fine lol
You're allowed to sleep on your stomach unless its uncomfortable
,then how should we sleep?
I’ll sleep how it makes ME comfortable thank you
Unless you can sleep sitting, standing or Doggystyle (which was the position that got you pregnant in the first place), you basically showed us every possible sleeping position (belly back and side) and said they are all bad.
Im natural back sleeper. I would have all the right pillow support before going to bed. And i would still wake up on my back lol.
So all of us pregnant women sleep standing up
I can’t help but sleep on my tummy🥺🥺
I’ve been sleeping in an upright-ish (45ish degree angle) position most of my 2&3rd trimester it’s helped with back pain and acid reflux. Once asleep I tend to discard the extra pillow and settle on my side.
Sleep on ur left side is best position for baby and mother as doctor advised
I feel like videos like this and some of the comments freak out new moms. Just check with your doctor or midwife and listen to your baby/body. Left side is best for allowing the best bloodflow to the placenta not necessarily linked to your digestion. However either side is fine. My baby kicks a lot at first in side positions but she settles after a few minutes. If you are a back sleeper like i was before pregnancy just add a pillow behind your back/shoulder to keep you from fully laying back and tilt so you aren't hurting your shoulder(lay more on the blade than pushing on your joint directly). Using a small memory foam neck pillow or wedge pillow to support your belly once its bigger helps a lot for side sleeping comfort. Your belly button can absolutely point slightly up and you arent going to harm your baby. Dont freak out on other moms if they cant get comfortable in the above exact positions...that's just plain rude lol. Geting good rest is Super important for both of you. Stay positive Mommas! Youve got this!
Very good info! This quick clip was meant to point people to a longer video with some tips just like yours. These “worst” positions don’t necessarily all harm the baby/mom but in late pregnancy I like to use a certain position that supports optimal fetal positioning for a faster easier birth experience.
Not on the back, not on the side and not on the tummy! Handstands it is!!
I'm on my back but have enough pillows to elevate me so not entirely flat due to sinusitis problem....this journey aint easy 😢
This is my second pregnancy, and with my first, I laid on my stomach until it started feeling uncomfortable, which was about week 9/10. This time round, I'm currently 13 weeks, and I am still lying on my stomach. Midwife says so long as it feels comfortable for ME, it shouldn't matter.
Then how do I float ?
Best positions here 🥰: ruclips.net/video/5U_1QkZmb5o/видео.html
Currently pregnant with #3 and always sleep on my left side with lots of pillows
Laying completely on my side puts an insane amount of pressure on my entire back. Pillows help support without being flat on my back. But yeah, y’all really be asking way too much out of pregnant women.
There’s women out there on hard drugs and drinking during their pregnancies.
Guess I’ll just have to sleep in a floating position
Yea we r asked not to sleep on our backs but during delivery we r forced to lay on r backs.....like who pulls laying down???
🤦🏻♀️You gotta sleep on you LEFT side per OB doctors. Back and right-side sleeping has higher risk of stillbirth, reduced fetal growth, low birth weight, and preeclampsia.
I think right sode is fine too. You can’t possibly spend all night on the left, in third trimester. Hip, back pain is. Terrible
Laying on your right side or back doesn’t increase risk for those things. It can however make it difficult for you to breath because all the weight of baby is put on a certain vein(forget the name). No one can expect a pregnant woman to always lay on one side. I lay whatever way let’s me sleep and I’m 8months with my 3rd child
Just sleep on your left side and call it a night. Tbh whatever position you’re comfortable in is what the doctors told me. I have 3 kids
I try so hard not to sleep on my stomach. I try to support my body properly but lying on my side all night hurts
I lay on my back. My body doesn't like sideways.
Guess I’ll just sleep standing up
As long as you feel good you Can sleep in every position. When i have a hard time finding sleep i like to be on my belly and there's absolutely no risk. Of course when you're 8 months pregnant you cannot do it anymore but please dont buy those crap !
So basically just sleep standing up then, right?
You’re not helping by not giving alternative
In Every position she said no,no,no .in actual she doing all of that and telling us not to 😂😂😂😂
This comment section is really fun 😂😂
If you’re going to complain and make smart remarks like “ So I guess I have to sleep standing up then or I guess No sleep for me at all” Then you should reconsider ever getting pregnant 🤰🏽 because at the end of the day it’s about keeping your baby safe and certain positions actually cut off oxygen to your Baby which can cause a Still Birth to occur, So please be respectful of this woman’s advice because she knows what she is talking about 💁🏽♀️💯
Oh, put a sock in it. She made a useless video, we know the positions to avoid, it would be more helpful to help than give scare tactics to ensure a 2nd video gets views 🙄
"Reconsider ever getting pregnant" ?! Think about the words you put on the internet to the vulnerable and fragile women in this position, seeking help when they come across your thoughtless, low intelligence words.
Please show the correct positions as well
Was waiting to see the proper way to sleep so I could send it to my s/o but said nvm because it doesn't show you. 😔
The best positions are modified version of side laying which I go into detail in the full video on my channel.
am tired of these RUclipsrs telling me that n that ama do what makes me and baby comfortable
Sleeping on our back in pregnancy cuts off circulation and other things to the baby, we're uncomfortable for a reason lol
I can’t control how I sleep when I’m changing positions in the middle of the night 😡
Cheers to us who sleep anyhow during pregnancy 😂😂😂
So which is right position, when all possible positions is wrong
Then what are the proper ways?
Why didnt you show the right way as well?
it's demonstrated in a different video 😊
How else will she get views on another video? 😂
I have to sleep at an angle. Can’t do on my side as it hurts to much. I am normally a back sleeper and can’t wait to go back to that once baby is born.,
How would you even want to sleep on your stomach pregnant i would cry if i did that
So basically no sleep
Me too 4months preggy but so hard to sleep
Pregnancy pillows come in very handy
Literally all the positions I sleep in.
So what's the right way plzz upload the complete video
Makes no sense to not show the SOLUTION. The link in the pinned comment doesn’t even work. Not a helpful video.
I slept however I wanted and had a good supportive pillow
