I prefer steaming wrinkles out of clothes since I find it quicker. I unfortunately don’t own a steamer, so instead I hang the shirt I want to wear on the opposite side of the shower and let the steam from my morning shower do the work! At the end, I just shake the shirt and stretch it with my hands a bit. Any small splashes on the shirt are dry by the time I’m done getting ready.
Widowed socks are brilliant the for all sorts of porpoises: many different cleaning jobs such as blinds, cleaning and polishing handbags, ornaments, mirrors- putting your gave in the sock speeds the job up . Once too worn fir that then get chopped up and put into cut off legging legs to make draught excluders. Btw- It’s ‘ one fell swoop’ not ‘one foul swoop’ !
Agreed I have adopted the same sock method for all black work socks. No one needs to be looking for socks at 6am. I wear a uniform so don’t need to show personality through clothing. On days off I enjoy a wide selection of patterns and colours; I don’t mind matching them at all 🌈
That’s why I only have black t shirt and jeans.

Pulley system is the best!!!!!! We had it in our tiny apartment above the bath, and it’s fantastic, ❌❌❌❌

Use them as a glove when shining my shoes. No more dirty hands😀😀
They can also, be used to make doll sweaters, tights and hats.

I agree! Patterned socks can be very fashionable and a variety of others compliment the outfit.
