@@ecoscansalopian Oh that's wonderful 😊 they evoke so many lovely memories for people - the sound, the feel, the smell of the interior of the car. Experiencing people's reactions to the cars is one of the pleasures of having them 😊
I love the simplicity of the Morris dash in those days. If a new car had this kind of look I would instantly buy it. Even little Mini's these days are not little and following the current trend to make cars complicated and cheap. Plastic junk really. Yes what a delight looking at the dash board.
I was 5 in '54 and I still remember my dad's Minor. Wonderful little car (though it didn't seem so little at the time).
