I've been watching PH routines here for the past several days. I just watched our Olympic trials. I haven't seen anything even close to what Sasha brings to the the table. None of our current team does flairs, and even the few that do from China or Russia don't use the combinations and pirouetts that he does. He makes this event the most exciting event in mens Gymnatics. Dazzling performance.
I remember when watching this live, it had me on the edge of my seat. One of the most memorable 2008 olympic moments by far. This and Jonathon Horton's HIgh Bar were both absolutely amazing.
i remember when i was watching this on tv i had tears. it was so amazing. i favorited a video of this back then but just noticed it got deleted for copyright or something. so great.
I agree with absolutely everything you just said about Sasha. I haven't been able to watch the trials because of work. Is he in it, again, or no? God, I hope so. As you said, he makes this the most exciting event. This was honestly the highlight of the entire 2008 Olympic Games, in my opinion. Just stunning.
Flairs should be at least C difficulty. Many people, even Olympic gymnasts, dont include flairs in their routine as it is harder than that of normal circles.
Even Dominique Dawes said that any medal for the US men was out of the question...and then they won bronze. HAHA I can't even imagine how great that must feel. Take THAT
Very special performance from '08. Makes all of the pommel horse performances that I've seen so far at this summer's Olympics look soooo pedestrian. Too bad this guy got injured. USA sure could have used him.
one of the few pommel horse routines that is actually applause worthy.....simply gorgeous
I have never heard a crowd cheer so loud for a pommel horse routine in my life. Bravo Sasha, bravo
I remember the state of awe I was in after watching this the first time...so amazing.
It is definitely incredible to see the amount of cheering for pommel. That was exciting
The flares should count for more than they do. They can't be easy, despite how freaking easy he makes them look. The man is brilliant on the PH.
Love him

Little BADASS!

@@griffinantle6645 What is the reason?
演技の流れも、美しい姿勢(つま先)も素晴らしい!!! お父様はもちろん、お母様の影響も強く受けているのではないでしょうか!?? 難易度も大切な要素だけど、こういう"美しい体操"をもっともっと見たい。。。
Best sidehorse routine of all time.
すげぇ
He does a full body 360 degree rotation on one hand that looks impossible.

@linneea92 he scored 15.350
What did that announcer lady have to buzzkill this routine??
i think he is good gymnast, but he is also inconsistent in the major times.
that announcer lady is so annoying
