    This is exactly what I thought it should’ve been, something like NSMB on the DS where normal enemies became bosses, something very unique that was overshadowed by the koopalings or bowser Jr.

    “Petey Piranha’s Painful Play” would’ve been the perfect name for a boss stage
    and it could be one of those levels that you can only play with a wonder effect, so that Piranha Plants would be singing the whole way, and the final arena is a stage like arena against Petey

    I think Kamek should have been a boss at the end of the ships since he's the one summoning them. Mixing his magic with the Wonder Flowers could have been crazy.

      @@jockson7574 I disagree with them being a part of Wonder, but I agree that, with them being based on the japanese legend of moon rabbits and the fact that they specifically live on the Dark Side of the Moon, they could have explored them more.

    Before I heard of the bosses, I also thought it would be like yoshi island with the newer enemies using the wonder flower or you using the wonder flower to take them down. One idea I had at the time was called "The goopa" which in my mind would've been the mini boss of the wubba ruins. Through the power of wonder flowers a koopa and wubba fused together to make this giant goo of a koopa with the koopa itself being in the middle of it. The goal of the mini boss would be to collect a wonder flower to turn yourself into a wubba, allowing you to enter the goo koopa. Then you and the koopa would essentially bash together to knock one another out of the goo, when you knock the koopa out he's vulnerable and you hit him. Then the wonder flower effect resets and you just repeat two more times getting slightly harder each. I definitely feel like if there was something between each of the bowser Jr. fights it would have absolutely spiced up each world's end fights.

    I have a few different boss ideas:
    Pipe-Rock Plateau: Baron Von Bounce, a giant Sproing that integrates the stretchy Mario wonder effect. You can choose to either fight him tall or crouched. If you fight him when you are tall, he will stretch extremely high, forcing you platform to him. If you fight him crouched, however, it’s much simpler platforming mixed with the fact that you have poor jumping.
    Fluff-Puff Peaks: Fredd the Frigid, a large Outmaway. He acts incredibly similarly to the Snifberg fight from Yoshi’s Woolly World, but with slight differences. He can choose to roll snowballs at you, which gain size the more they roll. He can also rain snowflakes from the sky that fall slowly. The vulnerability point is when he does the under-the-ice attack Big Montgomery does in Yoshi’s Woolly World.
    Shining Falls: Humongohop, a large Hoppycat that integrates the Hoppycat transformation. He will jump around the room and attempt to drill into the ground and come out form under you. You need to dodge his attacks and get him stuck in the ceiling, causing him to fall and get his spikes stuck in the ground. Then you can jump up and ground pound his stomach.
    Sunbaked Desert: The Unfairoah, a Mumsie that uses the Speed Up/Slow Down wonder effect. He can use sandblasts and change the speed, requiring the player to watch out. He can also activate quicksand or sand geysers at random to move the player away. He also gets affected by the time changes, so when he gets slow, you can pull one of the pulleys on him, which will damage him.
    Fungi Mines: Wubbalmighty, a giant Wubba that uses the Wubba transformation. He has many things inside of his goo, which he will spit and create a maze. You will have to make your way through the maze and push a Konk onto his head. When this happens, he will try to chase you. If he touches you, it’s an insta-kill.
    Deep Magma Bog: The Rrrumbler, a self-proclaimed wrestler Rrrumba that uses the Spike ball transformation. It takes place in a rocky wrestling ring and requires you to dodge his attacks and wait for him to get tired. Then you need to gather enough speed to break his shell, leaving him vulnerable. After each hit, he will regain his shell.
    Petal Isles: Maw Maw the Ravenous, a boss before Missile Meg Mayhem. It works a la Prince Froggy from Yoshi’s island, where you shrink and get eaten. The difference, however, is that you will also be turned into a Goomba and have to platform as a Goomba to reach his uvula.
    I’m also deciding to give Kamek a boss fight because he was done dirty in this game. He will fly up in the sky his broom and summon the new Bullet Bill types. You have to platform up to him with a random Wonder transformation.

      I was thinking sunbaked desert could make the angry sun return in a wonder event and he chases Mario more aggressively and shoots down fireballs and gets larger

      My idea for Kamek would be him using the Wonder to get buff and start attacking you with his massive arms.

      For Shining Falls, I was thinking Master Poplin, using the Royal Seed in order to summon clones of himself. He would be secretly working with Bowser and he would transform his Royal Seed Mansion into an actual mansion. You would have to platform through various "trials" while avoiding his attacks in order to reach him
      For Sunbaked Desert, I was thinking Ishmael, the head of the Robbirds. It would make sense with the Thousand Year Door's remake coming out on Switch next year. You'd battle him onstage in an Arabian marketplace set, and he would summon his Robbirds to attack you. He could also summon Gnawshers to tease the next level in the Petal Isles (Gnawsher Lair). There would be coins coming out from time to time that you would use to lure him towards you.
      For Deep Magma Bog, I was thinking Wario, and he would merge with the heart of the volcano like in Move It. He would spit lava balls at you and try to shoot fire out of his eyes. You would have to get his nostrils clogged with some popped Kernels three times in order to win.

      Also, for the final boss, I think the final battle in game would be the first phase, with Castle Bowser ejecting you from the castle afterwards and attacking you there, starting the second phase. In this phase, he would summon Cloud Piranhas as well as use his hypnotic eyes in order to invert your controls, shooting fire at you and summoning Missile Megs and Seeker Bills. Then, in the third phase, he would be chasing you with his last breaths and summoning various wonder effects from the Petal Isles that have their own special twist such as the stage being half-submerged in lava and half-submerged in water, the floor of the stage crumbling and you having to dodge deadly acid rain as well as thunderbolts, and it could end with Bowser eventually summoning a horde of Gnawshers that chase you through each world, with the bosses from the previous worlds adding on to the chase with their own attacks. Eventually, you would go back to the entrance of the Flower Kingdom, where Prince Florian would become a Wonder Flower and reverse the effects of the Wonder Flower that Bowser touched.

    I know that this isn't related to the video, but I discovered a detail in Mario Wonder.
    So you know how when Mario or the selected character is off screen, a little bubble will appear showing where they are?
    Well, if you go off screen during a Wonder Effect, the bubble will now have little stars around it, and I thought this was pretty neat!
    I hope this gets included in one of your videos soon, and if not, it's ok! Anyway, great video!

    To be honest, the thing this game really does well except for the bosses is give a variety of enemies and no level feels the same. I think if you have regular enemies becoming bosses it just sort of contradicts what this game has done well. Instead of similar types of enemies to ones we’ve seen before but make them totally unique instead of just having them be buffed up versions of enemies we’ve already faced

    10/10 ideas in my opinion
    Still I hoped they'd implemented a boss battle revolving around the dark cosmic energy stuff that was in fungi mines, it's never explained what it is or where does it even come from or why can it make a clone of mario

      Nintendo is just lazy sometimes. They can be creative when they want to, they showed it in this same game with the wonder flower events but chose to just not try for bosses except for the final boss.

    While I think the Koopalings as bosses is better than the dearth of bosses in Wonder, the best alternative would've been an original slate of bosses. And what would've really elevated Wonder is if it featured someone other than Bowser as the main baddie (like Wart, Wario, or maybe some original flowery nemesis for the Flower Kingdom).
    Bowser could have been a boss, but the final boss should've been someone else.

    This would NEVER have happened, but how cool would it have been if the boss level of fungi mines was like, full of wubba enemies, and the boss itself is revealed to be Tubba Blubba from the paper mario series. (and yes, my main reason for him being there is the name similarity. lol)

    Actually, something that came to my mind when you mentioned sunbaked desert was the ninjis. They’re mentioned a lot in that world, and it makes me think the boss should be somewhat related to them. I can imagine sort of a dance battle similar to their level where you have to time your jumps to the beat to hit the big one while smaller ones try and attack you

    One thing I've noticed is that Bowser Jr. actually adds to the fight if you go long enough without hitting him. Why did the developers not have him do that from the start? Would have made the battles more interesting.

    In an alternative universe where this happend people would say "all the bosses are just big versions of regular enemies you hit three times! So lazy and boring"
    some of the wonder seed segments were effectively boss flights, just not framed as such.

    Yeah I know in New Super Mario Bros DS They had some really good original boss battles so it would be cool if they brought back Mega Goomba from NSMB DS like where the Goomba uses the Wonder Flower and then transforms himself into Mega Goomba and you turn small as you have go on top of the platforms to jump on his head and then some of the other phases would be you turning into a Goomba and you have to figure out a way to get on top of him in order to finish him off. Or you can have a Hammer Bro use the Wonder Flower and then make him transform into a big sledge bro where you have to avoid his giant hammers in order to hit him or maybe throw them back at him. And one last thing so maybe for Piranha Plant they can have him use the Wonder Flower and have him transform into Naval Piranha from Yoshi's Island and you have to hit his weak spot which is his stomach in order to finish him off. Or maybe use The Koopalings again and then give them each a Wonder Effect boss fight now that would be cool. Or maybe have a boss fight for Kamek. Now this is what Nintendo should do next time whenever they do original bosses instead of having Bowser Jr and having two worlds having no bosses at all.

    Great ideas! Honestly, 2D Mario has a habit of not having great boss fights, but it seems like Nintendo didn't even try to do anything here. Sure the final Bowser fight was fun (but extremely easy), but any other unique bosses would have made this game even better! Granted, I really like this game, but I always enjoy a nice boss fight to cap off completing a world. Using the Wonder Flowers, the sky would have been the limit for many creative boss fights!

    Here's my ideal boss lineup:
    *Bowser Jr should've been a tower/fortress boss, as his fights feel more like mini-boss fights
    *Kamek should've been the airship boss
    *W1 Pipe-Rock Plateau: Petey Piranha, with wonder power giving him fire breath & vine whips!
    *W2 Fluff-Puff Peaks: Smognimbus, a Smogrin with weather manipulation abilities. (I'm talking icicle blizzards, fire tornadoes, lightning strikes!)
    *W3 Shining Falls: Master Popplin, he could've had ninja abilities to fight against!
    *W4 Sunbaked Desert: King Mumsy, the long dead pharaoh of Sunbaked Desert reanimated! (He'd fight with khopeshes!)
    *W5 Fungi Mines: Wubbamycosis, a mutant, Bogmire-like wubba that could've held all the Fungi Miners hostage.
    *W6 Deep Magma Bog: Kerpop-on-the-Cob, a giant, volcanic stone corn-cob that spews Kerpops from its body.
    *Petal Isles: Gooper Blooper, but with wonder power turning his ink into interdimensional rifts!
    Castle Bowser & the Special World are the only areas I'd leave alone.

    Great video! I think that for Shining Falls, a cool boss could have been Master Poplin himself since you see him all throughout the world as you play it. Having this twist at the end is probably better than a mere poplin house containing the royal seed. The level could be called something like "Master Poplin's Final Trial" or something along those lines.

    World 1: Bonker The Bull - A giant orange Bullrush the charges at you and magically summons normal Bullrushes to attack you and you have to lead them into Bonker to knock him over, then ground pound him to deal damage. Repeat the process 3 times to defeat him
    World 2: Inmaway - A giant purple variant of Outmaway that kicks spells that conjure Bullet Bills, Ice Blocks, giant Spiny Shells, and fireballs in a random order. The sixth spell conjures a normal Koopa Shell. Throw the shell to trip Inmaway, then ground pound him and repeat the process to kill him. Sometimes, Inmawah alters the platforms to turn into Countdown Lifts, Linking Lifts, or a wooden block floor with Condarts in the way to keep you on your toes
    World 3: Smogiant - A giant Smogrin with muscular arms that pounds the cloud floor vertically while the mouth spits out flying Anglefish at you. When the flying magic Hoppycat lift shows, time your jumps correctly to let the magic Hoppycat hit the head of Smogiant, then repeat three times to defeat him. Magic Hoppycats die in two jumps, so be warned. The hands of Smogiant can also try to slap you in a horizantal line, so that you should also look out for.
    World 4: Magi-Mumsie - A normal mumsie, but covered in unjumpable spikes with also a hole at it's top to launch enemies like Snootles, Bone Goombas, and rolling spike balls at you. When Magi-Mumsie waves it's hand, it's gonna charge at you, so grab onto an upward vine to dodge. It can also summon a dizzy Armad, which can be used to damage Magi-Mumsie, so do that three times to defeat him. Keep in mind he can also summon a fire or melon piranha plant to shoot at you too.
    World 5: Thrower Taily (TT) - A giant Taily that uses his tail to chuck spike balls at you. TT can also use his tail to warp through the narrow tunnels to push you to your doom off the ledges and into a poison swamp. When he does that, instead ground pound his tail to stun him, then pull it back and let go to deal damage. Be warned that TT can also fake-out where he'll attack next too!
    World 6: Wonder Volcano: A normal mountain that was turned into a magic volcano thanks to a fallen Wonder Flower. He shoots giant fireballs, lit Hot-Hot-Hots, and Rrarghs to crash down on you unexpectedly. When he shoots out his rock heart on a string, jump from below to deal damage, then repeat to defeat him. Flying Fire spikes can also show up, so be warned.

    I like the bosses that you came up with and here's an idea for a boss for Petey piranha i was thinking that he would be the boss in the fungal mine being controlled by fungi that are affected by a wonder flower that all i got but someone could come up with a boss battle with that idea 😊

    Maybe a king happy cat that uses its flexible body to spit out enemies by blowing up, then shooting it out, it shows that with an enemy before the fight and then for the fight u have to go inside and hit something before it shoots u out

    I think it would of been very cool if James was also collecting wonder seeds for bowsers big wonder, and he could also use them for the upgraded enemies. That would give Kamel a good role in my opinion.

    My ideas:
    I don’t really have any ideas for worlds 1, 3 or 6…
    World 2: Aracicle
    Giant Icicle spider that terrorizes the skies of the fluff puff peaks. It will spawn 7 small tiny versions of itself, called “Snow spiders”. Once you kill all 7 of them, Aracicle will start spewing icy clusters that will surely one shot you. After that, the aracicle will shoot a normal cluster. Now is your chance! You are immediately given a fire flower, for that is needed in the fight. You must shoot the cluster with your fire, until it goes back up, and hits Aracicle. You must do it 4 more times. During the third hit, Aracicle will shoot 12 snow spiders instead of 7, And it will shoot icy clusters faster.
    World 4: Great Desert Phoenix
    A giant foe from the desert skies flies above! Maybe it’s heat-y body was the reason why the water was gone! The Great Desert Phoenix is a giant foe you would wanna mess with. It has 4 different attacks. Its most common is its fire breathing attack. It will spew a singular fireball at you. Another attack it does is Its roar. It’s roar will stun you for 6 seconds. You only hear its roar once throughout the entire fight. Thirdly, It can slam its head down onto your boney little body. You must avoid that attack. Now is your chance to attack him! Lastly, it’s most deadly attack, It will flap its wings to summon massive firey rows to burn you. Watch out!
    World 5: Fungal Golem
    You have awoken a giant monster from the fungal depths. You must face it with your might.
    You immediately go 3D. (Not like condart maze, ACTUAL 3D). It will slam its giant fists to try to crush you. You must ground pound both of it’s fists to go onto the next part. After you do that, it’s mouth will open, and once you go in it you go back to 2D. you grab a wonder seed, turning you into a wubba. You must go through a deadly maze inside the golem’s anatomy, and you must reach its heart to deal damage.
    You must repeat it 4 more times. During the Golem’s third life, once it slams it fists, boulders will fall down.

    My takes on mario wonder original bosses:
    Junior could be the boss of airship levels
    W1 Pipe-Rock Plateau: Buff-Boom; Boom-Boom made monstruosly muscular with a wonder power, he could push pushable thing to crush you or chuck you blocks, throwmps or even hoppos you have to bounce off to reach his head
    W2 Fluff-Puff Peaks: Flakitu; a Lakitu wearing winter sports clothes (with the glass-mask thing skiers usually wear) on a cloud with a Freezy face (you know, those ice thing with their '~' face) instead of usual cloud smile, Flakitu would throw snowball at you will the cloud would pour dangerous snowflakes at you that can create pilling snowblocks, both can also use wonder power to blow gusts
    W3 Shining Falls: Boss Sumo; Not the most creative but he would fit the theme and he's pretty underrated
    W4 Sunbaked Desert: Tutantakle, a giant bloops looking like a pharaoh that consume the desert's water supply, because I want to keep the original plot of stolen water, the fight would be water based obviously, where you have to swim from bubble to bubble to reach his head
    W5 Fungi Mines: Cosmic Entity, a rift that take the form of enemies Mario & Friends can transform into (Goomba, Hoppycat or Wubba) that have different pattern depending of the transformation, it could also grow an elephant trump to spit poison at you, shoot fireball, shoot bubbles containing enemies or drill into the ground for surprise attacks
    W6 Deep Magma Bog: Petey Pyrhana (the y is intentional); Petey Pirhana recolored into a Fire Pirhana, could fit greatly into the world's theme since it's around lava and vegetation, plus since it's the penultimate world the boss HAVE to be a Pirhana Plant because Flower Kingdom ya know, she obviously spit fire or she use wonder power to rise the lava level and grow vine Pirhana you can grip to in the cielling, while she swim in lava and you have to wait till she peek her head out to jump on it, she can use the silhouette effect too.
    Petal Isles(Right before Castle Bowser): Wonder Kamek, could fit for the penultimate boss, he could try to use wonder power to cause sheningan like moving pipes, falling pipes, extention, perspective shift, bubble or a quiz riddle where you have to awnser right or you get hurt.
    Castle Bowser: I don't think this one really need change, maybe a final phase where Bowser become back to normal and you fight him whild the castle is crumbling into total Wonder chaos due to it being abused too much by Bowser

    Mario wonder boss battles are some of the best in the series when it comes to how good they look plus I mean I know it's bowser junior the whole time it did make me kind of mad at first but then when I saw them on screen they're actually cool Appreciate it man it's still good

    Fungi mines could have a baby thowp boss.The ground will be swaying and some mumsies will be there.The baby thowp will eventually fall into the poison.Each phase will have more mumsies and less baby thowps.

    I think it'd be better to take the Bowser Junior fights in this game at put them in the Airships at the end, and give some original bosses in the main worlds like this, OR the koopalings. Heck why not a mid-stage boss that are like this?

    World 1 petey piranha
    ( ground pound the ground to stick petey in dirt and bury the plant )
    Airship 1 reznor comes back
    ( the same fight from super mario world but all four have mini platforming chalenges to get to them )
    World 2 kamek
    ( the same type of fight he got in new super mario bros wii )
    World 3 shadow mario
    ( the whole castle level is a chase level where shadow mario is after you, and he uses paint to create slippery platforms. )
    World 4 koopalings
    ( each koopaling gets 2 hits 1 normal, 1 wonder effect )
    World 5 king boo
    ( puzzle boss required to stun with a light and making wind to suck king boo )
    World 6 bowser jr
    ( first two hits he fight on foot, then he gets in his clown car and it becomes a chase level )

    Boss idea: Your tall mario going trough a hallway chasing a wubba. You have to chase it while dodging enemies until it gets cornered and you have to do this 3 times to defeat it.

    I made boss concepts for all of these, wooo, ok... World 1: Bulrampage: A Bulrush becomes much bigger after the Wonder Flower. It will simply charge at you in a big arena, something like a large field or cave. You will see a large heard of Bulrush in the background, sometimes a few of them charging into the arena to charge into you while Bulrampage jumps into the back. After his attack, Bulrampage will charge into the arena once more. He will charge into you to the other end of the screen, which you will have to jump over. After hitting the end of the screen, he will get stunned, this is where you must jump on him. After each hit he will get more and more angry, making the Bulrush stampede faster, and causing him to skid before hitting the wall in his charge attack. Defeating him will grant you the Royal Seed.
    World 2: Frezeway: The wonder event will cause a Outmaway to become bigger and become frozen, with a hard outer shell made of ice. Frezeway will hop into the background and create ice balls and procced to throw them at you, when he does this, they will fall like meteors. Will then hop back into the arena and create big ice blocks and kick them at you, with two pits on each side of the arena, you will have to jump over these blocks and then go over to Frezeway and jump on him, slowly cracking his icy outer shell. After cracking his armor you will have to jump on him one more time to defeat him, granting you the Royal Seed.
    World 3: Discofin: This is a boss version of the Anglefish. Rather then becoming a king or something, it becomes a DJ. With ladder glasses and a DJ stand of some sort. The usual blue part of their fin will also start switching between the colors of the rainbow, similar to the Anglefish seen in that one Wonder Event. It will also become bigger and use its wings to play the DJ stand. It would be a musical based boss fight where many Anglefish dart around the stage on beat with the music, with Discofin playing the music in the back, sometimes launching music at you. At the top of the stage there will be a spinning Anglefish attached to the ceiling, acting as a disco ball. To harm Discofin, you have to use the Anglefish jumping around the stage to jump up to the disco ball Anglefish and jump into it like a block, it will then dashing into Discofin in the background to hit him. You will get the Royal Seed after three hits.
    World 4: Mumsking: This Wonder event will cause a Mumsie to have a very tall head, and cause to be bigger and have a pharaoh-like appearance. It will use it bandages to swing around the stage, where you would have to avoid it as it swings all over the place, along with using them like hands, where you have to jump in time before it hits the ground to avoid getting stunned, after hitting the ground, a pot will drop from the ceiling, where you must throw the pot at Mumsking to reveal an unravel. You must pull the unravel to slowly reveal a tinier, weaker Mumsie, it will then run around the stage to avoid getting hit, if you take too long, it will regain its bandages with no damage dealt, and if you hit it, it will regain its bandages. After three hits, you will get the Royal Seed.
    World 5: Tubba: A combination of a Taily and a Wubba. It will look like a big Taily but the green parts of made of slime and it has Wubba eyes, with the black part being the only solid part of it. It would move around around the stage, sliding up the walls like a Wubba and launching out slime balls instead of the spike ball it usually shoots out. If you dodge this attack a few times, it will jump onto the ceiling, creating a big slime maze which you have to swim through to reach it, after which you pull its string, dealing one hit, and the cycle repeats until three hits, upon which you will be granted the Royal seed.
    World 6: Wargh: A massive Raargh. It will have a dark red color and angry eyes. The boss arena would be in a volcano with the floor being a stone platform on a geyser of lava shooting up through the volcano. The fight would be also moving up, with Wargh charging into the stage from time to time from the top of the screen, either from the left, middle, or right of the top. On each side of the screen, there are pots of water, when Wargh charges from the top, he will break these pots, which respawn after a few seconds. You must grab one of these pots, which are filled with water, to throw at Wargh, making him smaller and faster. Instead of hitting him three times, you must hit him until he is small enough to hit, about eight or something. After which you get the Royal Seed.

    I agree with the enemy choices that could've been terrific and unique boss fights. This is my only complaint I have about Super Mario Bros. Wonder, because Nintendo seems to be TOO LAZY to add unique boss fights, other than just the usual fights against Bowser Jr. in the Wonder Effects and the Bowser final boss. 🤦‍♂️ I also have a few more unique boss fight suggestions, like what if a boss fight against a larger version of Ninjis, a Giga Armad, a Giga Meramera, a giant Moving door (I call this enemy a Terror Door 😁), and even giant version of a starbit-like Sugarstars. 👍👍👍 All of these could've been BETTER unique boss fights. ⚔

    How about in each world, Kamek manages to find the royal seed before you do, and uses to power up one of the enemies, a bulrush in world 1, an outmaway in world 2, a hoppycat in world 3, a mumsy in world 4, petey in world 5, mega fire spike in world 6, and himself in petal isles unfortunately having to use a wonder flower, since bowser fused with the petal isles royal seed, thus why his wonder state is lasting for so long; stopping you form making your way into castle bowser

    I created a crystal king boss fight for Mario wonder. It was like the king could change elements between fire,ice and electrice. It was like the crystal king was ice element and Mario was fire and then the crystal king was fire and Mario electrice. It was a crazy idea

    A lot of people are saying Kamek should have been a boss, and I agree, but I think the biggest missed opportunity for a boss was King Boo. The game should have had multiple ghosts houses, maybe one on every world like in nsmb wii. King boo would be the wonder effect on each one, and you would have to escape him, but each time he would have a new trick, like shooting fireballs or teleporting, and each ghost house would have its own theme. (The first ghost house had the evil doors and the time switches). Then the final ghost house would have him as a boss combining everything from previous encounters.

    The level rolla koopa derby could have a giant rolla koopa with little rolla koopas skating around.You would have to jump off a koopa and throw it’s shell at the big one.Phase 1 could be grab the shell and throw it at the big koopa.Phase 2 could have ramps And the final phase could have music blocks.

    The BJR fight in Deep Magma Bog was probably the only fun one. I think the things that should have been changed were the battleship fights. They were sad.

    I think some cool ideas are, master poplin for shinning falls and test us on the knowledge we have earn as we fight on the literal water fall, mabye he will have the crounching high jump badge equip and use it against you and you have to catch him while he's riding on rails, all the while you have to time your jump so hoppy cats be it big or small can destroy obstacles on the way, and then for the second phase we get sugar stars which you have to jump past and angle fish jumping from the water fall, and then to finish it off you turn into a hoppy cat your self and find openings to attack under the barrage of enemies he sends to you. And for the bowser stages they all can have boss fights per stage, for the missile Meg level, during the wonder effect you land on an airship and fight kamek, for the high voltage gauntlet is against Jr where he could expand on the mario 64 reference and use the caps and you have to approach him in different ways, and for avoid the seeker bullet bills you fight them both and they combain their attacks

    I think that the first boss fight with Bowser jr. is pretty good, but then for world 2, 3, 4 and 5 we should've had original bosses. For world 6 we could've had wonder Kamek, and for the airships a GOOD robot Bowser (idk maybe the one from mario galaxy). And then for the final boss, we could've had some type of wonder-smoke bowser that we have to make fall via a draw bridge and, after you hit the button, some of the wonder power that Bowser stole at the start of the game starts to invade you, and for the final phase you turn into a tank and have to hit certain parts of Castle Bowser while moving across the Petal Isles. And for the final hit, a massive wonder laser! It would've been fantastic, but no, instead we have "Bowser, the fifth Queen member" for the final boss (which is still great tho).

    I have to say that I agree with the criticisms that the bosses in Mario Wonder should have been far better and more interesting than what we got. I thought that with Wonder power, we could get something like what Yoshi's Island game did with transforming their enemies into unique encounters, but nope. At least the final boss with Bowser is perfect, which is almost a saving grace for otherwise fantastic game.

    as for the condart one on 4:05 i was thinking there would be 4 small condarts and one big one. the small condarts would only charge toward the player. the player would have to move toward the big condart after she charges, so the small condarts would hit the big one and she'd take damage. you have to repeat this 3 times as usual.

    Nintendo needs to go back to enemy-based fights like DS and Yoshi's Island, they just added a whole slew of new enemies and not one of them is a boss...
    Bowser Jr is literally not even an obstacle, Bowser Jr is a tiny pebble.
