    Thanks for doing this. I'm reminded about just how critical Apollo 9's mission was to the lunar landing program. Demonstration of docking the CM to the LM, separating from the Saturn booster, flying the combined spacecraft, testing the LM systems, firing the LM decent and ascent engines, EVA outside the LM, simulating the separation of the LM from the CM, in orbit rendevous. Critical first-time tests

    Weird to see a LEM in Earth orbit, and I don't believe I ever saw the bottom of one in space before. (and I thought I have seen every frame shot in space).
