ok in halls of reflection if u remember uther saying something like"Arthas is just a mere memory" ans said"if the lich king dies another will have to take his place" its either tirion or the rest of Arthas. and if u dont really know what a lich is ..its a soul that want to live forever and so it binds itself to something. like a sword, a urn, a body. arthas is going to be the next lich king. and yes i have read the Arthas book.
ON the PTR, inside Halls of Reflection, when you enter the room where The Lich King fights either Jaina or Sylvanas, you have a little time to dps him, but be carefull cause he killed me with just a snap of his finger without even going over threat...if there was a threat meter even.

What I am wondering is if someone could get about 4-6 things the LK says (in a downloadable mp3 file, they have to all be on a seperate track) so I could have him not talking to himself? Thanks

The internal struggle between the childlike representation of Arthas and Ner'zhul ends at the begining of the book.. The Lich King destroys Ner'zhuls will... and subsequently silences his younger self, and then the mal-intent, hatred, hunger for power and converge and there is no longer Arthas or Ner'zhul. Only The Lich King remains.
Ner'zhul, Arthas are one being... there is no more seperation between the two. In the book Arthas submits to the control of "The Lich King" which is the entity inside the crown. The entity that calls itself "The Lich King" is formed by the fusion of Arthas, and Ner'zhuls hunger for ultimate power, their contempt for life and their collective will. The power in the crown holds their personalities in control.
I see Arthas and the Lich King as a seperate entity now, not like Ner'zhul and Arthas, but..well you get my point. And if Uther could still speak within the blade, It may be possible that his soul and others managed to return the true Arthas, but by that time the Lich King had gained a seperate will and his now suppressing Arthas.

In a quest for the player to build Shadowmourne, they have to capture the souls of the Scourge (As in trash) as well as the various bosses in ICC, to fuel the weapon, much like Frostmourne. Lichy is pissed about it.
His voice changes for a reason, one could be the green crap he was coughing up, two he could be getting stronger since arthas(Im confused to) has been holding him back for the most part. For a new lich king and killing the lich king, I think Arthas is going to play the biggest part. If there was a main character, it would be arthas, and to randomly throw out there that the lich king isnt arthas, right before the fight has huge significance. Oh yeah before you go, hes not that evil...Good luck :D
The Lich King has a great voice and evil mind. I prefer : Illidan had a very big influence of his blind eyes , we saw his darkness , pure obsesion of power , the song from shadow moon valley make you feel what he feels ... hounded ... hated ... loneliness I miss him , I make BT right now lol.
actually we destroy his hearth in the last quest... so the kid is gone so is Arthas last bit of humanity... what stops him from destroying the world is the horde, the alliance, the dks and the crusade
Though nerzhul is gone? What you hear is the voice of the lich king...the unified being that was created when the souls fused. On a joke note: I think Arthas lost his voice ever since he said "the one...true...king". ( seems like it lol, his voice never returned to that after he said that lol) also If you hear Yogg saron voice files when he just talks in his low voice. then hear the Wotlk trailer you can hear that yogg sarons voice is arthas voice from that trailer.
I was actually thinking.. if ner'zhul got killed b4 the transformation, and the lich king died.. what scourge was there left after his death? Ner'Zhul was dead a long time ago and with Arthas's death, the scourge should be undone, just like the legion..
The "lich king" is in fact ner'zhul, whose soul is in the helmet, body armor and frostmourne... According tot Warcraft Lore, there must always be a "lich king", and as he has been freed from the prison sargeras made for him, he can not just be imprisoned again.. so expect another famous WoW character to take up the task of wearing the armor and sword, and controlling the lich king...
all we need to do is kill the lich king because he destroyed the remains of ner'zul and there may be a chance to bring back his sanity or completely kill the lich king itself but sacrificing arthas in the process to take whatever the licg king is with him
they are the same... like Venom arthas wanted to be the lich king... he wasnt trapped or anything ... he had a choice and made it... there is no soul to save... plus in a quest in icecrown we kill the human side of arthas(the little kid)
@Jonbino He doesn't voice KT anymore because they thought it would be confusing since he now voices the Lich King... So in the remake of Naxx they replaced him with a gay new voice actor...

Wow... You got it all wrong, seeing as Uther says in the Halls of Reflection "All that is left of Arthas is stopping the Scourge from destroying Azeroth". I'd also like to point out that he has more an Orc voice over the course of this whole expansion. Ner'Zhul is very much there and is controlling Arthas' body. Ner'Zhul was also the "Evil" that overcame him in the first place.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but with these new sound files, Wyrnn is preferable to Garrosh at this point. I have always hated both, but Wyrnn seems to actually have a heart, which I know Garrosh has none of.
It's true, they really screwed it up though, he has to speak in a way so as to allow for all these lame echoes to emanate properly and he has this lame "Lord Zedd" laugh they have him do. They should have just left it the same as in Wrathgate, he was amazing there, gave me chills all over, now? I roll my eyes at every laugh.

One of the Quest Chains in icecrown u have to kill arthas' heart so I'm not sure if ur right there... but we'll see how the encounter ends!
