It doesn’t take much to keep your neighborhood clean. There is a lack of sense of community. Once I lived a mixed race neighborhood in upstate New York, used to walk around and pick up trash on the sidewalks and roads with my big trash bin. Some of the my brothers were making fun of me and asked if I am getting paid doing this. I said no, I am doing it for free. You can blame poverty all you want, they just don’t care. I am a proud black man and I demand respect and with that come responsibilities.

Roads haven’t been paved in 50 years. Nobody comes to clean the parks. Swear I saw the same pile of debris sitting in a field for years. I think it’s a crime and it’s intentional. How can city and county officials claim they care about you and completely neglect these neighborhoods? You can’t send someone to clean these parks? You can’t pave a road?
