    Dear Tanmay, your video has been very informative and explained the concepts very well.
    I am planning to install a projector and screen in my living room. The wall on which I will put up the projection screen is 80 inches wide x 11 feet high. There are doors on both sides of the wall so the screen width (along with frame, hooks etc) cannot go beyond 80 inches. Opposite wall on which projector will be mounted is 14 feet away. Viewing distance is 12 feet.
    Can you pls help me with:
    1. Ideal screen size which will fit within the 80 inches space
    2. Since this is the living room with significant ambient light, especially during the day, what kind of screen will be best and economical.
    3. Is there a significant difference in picture quality between White, Grey & ALR screens? Is the difference worth the incremental pricing?
    4. Between Motorised and Manual Pull Down with Auto Lock, which is more practical from pricing and longevity perspective?
    5. I have shortlisted WZATACO A1 projector - any feedback?
    Look forward to your guidance. Thank you.

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  11 месяцев назад +1

      1. For 80” Width - 92” zero edge screen is max to accommodate.
      2. If it’s living room, then go for motorised screen that can go back up when not in use. And that ways you can go for bigger size.
      3. Absolutely. If you are looking to use this in living room, then ALR is right for you.
      4. Motorised is more practical.
      5. Not a fan of Wzatco as the lumens are 10% of what they mention. Also, check the throw distance before proceeding with cabling

      120” screen size is good. If primary consumption is more in the back row, then go for 133” screen.
      The bottom space will be based on your riser/platform height. We do a side elevation testing to determine this. Ideally it has to be 30” max!
      For projector placement, varies based upon the projector model and screen size you finalize.
