      Thank you. The staining really did turn out great. This video is a little behind the actual progress (due to editing and general life), so after some more sanding and poly top coats it is looking good. More videos to come. Thanks for watching.

    Small tip I've gotten from also having to use CA for small glue repairs.
    I use some (silicon) baking paper to hold down the edge, rather than normal paper.
    In general, it won't stick and leaves no residue.

    you should had applied a grain sealer to get a better surface

      Thanks for watching. I did apply some grain fill, but I breezed through it on the video. I used Aqua Coat grain filler for the low spots and showed that on the video. But not included on the video was a few coats of grain filler to the entire guitar body, with sanding in between. It was just too much to show on the video. I still left uneven grain on the top, to keep some character of the wood grain. Thanks for watching.
