good job boyd love how you got the battle of kitt and karr in there all you need now is karr it self after my defiant build think ill build two of these one kitt and the other karr put them nose to nose that would be cool
Very nice build Boyd, I've been building my season 3 version for six months, lol. Pretty much the same idea but using different approach, hope to finish in a week......or two.
You said that if I have any questions that I should ask you, here it goes. How did you make the bae and add the sounds for KITT?How did you do the flocking for the interior and where did you buy it?How did you do the dashboard?Where did you get the sign for the base? You said in part 2 that part 3 would show how to do the KITT voices using the BigDawg soundcard but I can't find it on your youtube channel. Was there a part 3?I know it's been 3 years since you did this model but I want to do this kit like you did with lights, sound and the base because someone from my congregation is about to finish doing a real KITT and I'd like to do this for him after he gets his done.Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Is this build on your website or do you have any pictures of the build? Thanks for any help that you can give me,I really appreciate it.
WOW awesome i've got that but stock no way do i have the talent to do what you did, i do have the larger diecast knight rider which is pretty cool Great Job
Both KARR and KITT both were, Glen Larson liked how the led lights on the Cylons looked on Battlestar Galactica. So added something to spice up the look of the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am on Knight Rider. The rest as they say, is history!
Great build but my god these Knight Rider kits are horrible. I can see the terrible fit on the glass for this one. I've got a Knight 4000 I've been working on and it's abysmal. Wrong rims, clear parts for a totally different car, glass that's way too thick.
DarkAngelGuyver After seeing your comment I had to take a look at the model again and it was just that the glue had come loose on the glass on one side. The glass fit's perfectly when it's glued so I fixed it. I've seen the Aoshima kit's and they are not perfect either. Especially when you'll usually pay north of $40-$50 for one. Only thing on those kit's more accurate is the vents on the fenders and the fog lights in the front. Those could easily be added to the MPC kit if one wanted to.
WOW, Boyd! You really outdid yourself this time! Awesome work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I have read some of the other comments, all I can say is you must be kidding, it looks amazing, the lighting and sound are incredible.

Great work on the K.I.T.T. car ! Where did you find the diecast of "The Car" ?
David Quick I bought it at Target years ago. Just saw it sitting there on the shelf and had to
grab it.
KARR, voiced by none other than Peter 'G1 Optimus' Cullen.
KITT's voice box was modified mid first season. Great job. What paint did you use? Also, did you paint it with brush or airbrush?
The model was airbrushed with actual automotive paint and clear coat.
Where did u but parts and car
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷Top top 👍👍👍👍👍
KITT was a Cylon.

TrekWorks Oh mine's even worse than the Aoshima stuff. It's an old AMT/ERTL kit. :D
