Hey Kpaceguy! At min 5:03 i see that you can set 5 height channels, what TS stands for? Can i have with this Marantz model a configuration of two top middle channels plus the voice of god for Auro 3D and two front height speakers?
I think you should it go all away setting up the crossover the levels and the rest of the set up that’s what I do when I run auddessey. It would be nice since there is always new people learning. Is always nice to see this kind of videos. Enjoy you pre/pro it’s nice!
I have a few videos already about crossover and setting up Subwoofers and a few others in my "how to" playlist. Maybe there are a few things in there that could help or anyone else out
How many calibration positions did you do..? I found doing all 8 within 2ft from the first one gives the best results, doing any less for me nowadays and I can’t get the sound right for me.
Kpaceguy : Thx for the reply....I always get mine on the 704c and the FR 705... I read that the Lism are designed to be out of phase.... just do not know if that is ture.....lol
Denon/Marantz has the best onscreen guide hands down but the power from the 7705 is not really that great. I just bought one myself and I was expecting more for the money I paid for. My old Emotiva Fusion 8100 receiver played just as loud as the Marantz. They both were powered by Emotiva XPA-3 version 2 and UPA-700. I paid $800 for the Fusion-8100 and over $2k for the Marantz and I am getting pretty much the same quality on both pre-pro. Never again will I be buying pre-pro from Marantz/Denon if not for sale price because they are over rated. Just my 2cents😂
Your intro music woke up my wife lol. I have dual Svd pb2000s that sounded Hella good. Thanks for video helped alot.
Thanks for watching! Tell your wife to subscribe too so she can hear that song everyday lol
4:25 - my receiver doesn’t show me that. I don’t have any of the atmos section. The receiver is sr6009. Can you help?
You don't have dolby atmos

Top surround and if you have the processing for it, yes. But a 7705 doesn't
@@Kpaceguy i see, thanks for the info!
looking at the exact setup. I have Def Tech speakers, and 4 svs elevations speakers
Oh man. That's a serious Theater you got
I had to set my subs 4 decibels higher after running XT32, but I like the bass!

@@Kpaceguy Do you have a video about choosing a external amp for a home theater? What to look for when shopping.

It would be cool if you do a video on using the app.
I definitely will! I haven't played around with it yet

I did 4 only because I don't Have any space behind the couch with my setup
Did u get an error “out of phase” message while doing the XT32 setup. I kept getting the error message with me Denon and Lsim 704c and 705s
Yes I often do on at least 1 speaker and not always the same speaker so as long as you've double checked, ignore it

Weird. Never heard that

Does this Marantz run hot?
It gets a tad warm but they're no amplifiers inside so it won't really get too hot
My question is. Should use a powered center channel is I have a multi channel amp?
I'd power as many speakers with an amp as I could

"Power" from the 7705???
What power? They are just processors, the power comes from the external power amps!
Dynamic eq actually makes the bass sound fuller if that makes sense.
But destroys the center, some voices get darker/fullier harder to hear
@@AudioClownHT that's why it have the dialog enhancement volume control for the center speaker
