Hi Julia :) Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me a comment. I am so glad you like the tutorials. :) I always keep in mind that I need to be able to reproduce what I want to make, so they are very similar. I didn't know how many people like or dislike that aspect. Thank so much for letting me know you like it. Heather
You are actualy the first person that suggested them too, so you get one of mine :) Would you like one with the purple, or the plain green one? Heather I will write you on youtube tomorrow on the back side so you can give me an address to send them to :)
these are so cute! I love so many of your pieces especially the ice cream sandwiches and rainbow collections. you give alot of helpful tips especially when it co es to making multiple in one sitti g and I really like that :)
Hi Heather, I really love you artichoke. The only thing I would want to say is that it's too perfect. The reason I say this is because nature isn't perfect. Your leaves are evenly spaced and perfectly sized and each leaf has the same dash of purple coloring. It looks wonderful but I'm sure you understand what I mean when I say nature isn't perfect. Maybe as you go down the choke alternate using medium and large leaves and see what kind of effect you get. Then maybe put a tiny bit of purple on one leaf and a little more on another and then next to none on another. What do you think? I'd love to see how that turns out. BTW, what are you going to put on your nails next? Can't wait to see what your creative mind comes up with next. Take care, Dee
Hi Dee :) I took a picture of my new nails. It is up on instagram now. I think my name there is sweetandsavorytrinkets I will try to do some filming over the next 2 days. I have been sick since Tuesday night. Another terrible cold from preschool :( I understand what you mean about nature not being perfect. For scale work I would probably spit the tops of the leaves on the bottom, and add a couple more random leaves. I guess I tend to think in term of making them easy to assembly line in my own way. I really want to make a artichoke petal cane with multiple colors and tons of streaks. I will have to wait till I do a couple more fruits and veggies.
Hi Kaitlyn, I get them here www.clayfactory.net/kempertools/pages/patcut.htm I just picked up the full tear drop shaped cutter set. Shipping is high for my taste, so I feel AI have to buy several at a time to get more of my moneys worth.
