Technically she would end up in purgatory because she didn't do anything wrong the first time but witchcraft is also a sin then the second time she would go to hell
This is a pretty stupid show known mostly for plot holes and errors but a LOT of Hollywood thinks gasoline fumes can be ignited by a lit cigarette. This is just a good example of a badly written scene that pops up in a ton of bad movies and shows.
When Myrtle said she has been "swimming against the tide" her whole life, I felt that in the deepest darkest pits of my soul.
